Elgato has announced the launch of the new Neo series, which now includes a total of five new products, including microphones, cameras, LED fill lights, capture cards and Stream Decks. The goal of these products is to make video calling and streaming easier, and they work seamlessly on multiple systems, including laptops, iPads, and more.
The first is the Wave Neo microphone, which comes with a tabletop stand that is tall enough. This ensures that listeners hear clear vocals and reduces background noise. At the same time, users can mute with a single tap. The microphone supports devices such as iPad, iPhone, and PlayStation. Of course, with the Wave Link app on the PC, users are able to get better sound adjustments.
Facecam Neo is a plug-and-play webcam. It can record at 60fps in Full HD and can turn on HDR to ensure that the subject is still clear in bright light. The Facecam Neo has a stand and privacy switch for easy installation. Like the microphone, it's ready to use out of the box, but you can customize it with the Camera Hub app.
Key Light Neo is a fill light for video calls and live streaming. It comes with a built-in control function, and users can adjust the brightness directly by touching. Although it's powered by USB, when connected to a wall power source, it can even reach 1000 lumens of brightness. It adjusts the brightness from your computer, phone, or Stream Deck console.
Game Capture Neo is an easy-to-use capture card that you can use to record your console. It has a loop-through specification of up to 4K@60fps HDR and can record to a PC, Mac or iPad via USB in 1080P@60fps specifications. This capture card works with a wide range of applications, including OBS Studio.
Finally, there's the Stream Deck Neo, which has fewer buttons than its predecessor, with eight buttons, but it has an information bar that shows the date and time. There are touch points on the left and right sides of this information bar.
Elgato says the Neo series is designed to help minimize distractions and boost creativity, creating a look that looks smooth and beautiful across a wide range of devices. At the same time, the Neo series is made from 60% or more recycled plastic, and the packaging is 100% plastic-free, which is a milestone in Elagto's sustainability journey.
