The technology leader said that at this stage, the cost of ultrasonic gas meters is higher than that of membrane gas meters, but with the application of large-scale integrated circuits, its cost will show a downward trend.
Combined with the advantages of ultrasonic gas meters and the future trend of cost decline, the product may face broad market prospects. In the interview, the reporter learned that the current proportion of ultrasonic gas meters in China is relatively low, and the relevant technical standards will be officially introduced by the state in 2021, and the type evaluation outline will be officially implemented in June 2023, which will effectively promote the large-scale application of products.
Relevant research shows that assuming that China's gas meter production will maintain a growth rate of 8% in the future, the penetration rate of ultrasonic gas meters in 2018 will be 5%, and the annual increase will be 3%, and the market size of ultrasonic gas meters in mainland China will reach 4.1 billion yuan by 2025 based on the ultrasonic gas form price of 200 yuan.
