On December 16, the 2023 Champion Charity Dream Action Champion Seminar was held at the Shaw International Conference Center, Hong Kong Chinese University (Shenzhen). The campaign was guided by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, co-sponsored by the Champion Fund and the Shenzhen Longgang District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, with the support of the China Youth Entrepreneurship and Employment Foundation, the Samaranch Sports Development Foundation, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). With the theme of "Vibrant Bay Area, Champions Walk Together", the charity seminar focused on the three themes of "Sports in Promoting the Integration of the Greater Bay Area and High-quality Urban Development", "Sportsmanship and Entrepreneurship", and "Sports and Social Sustainable Development".

Yang Yang, the first gold medalist of the Chinese Winter Olympics and the initiator of the Champion Fund, Hui Ruoqi, the Olympic champion of women's volleyball and the initiator of the Hui Fund, Li Xiaopeng, the Olympic champion in gymnastics, co-founder and chief product officer of Zhiguan, Chen Lu, China's first world champion in figure skating and the first Asian medalist to win a consecutive Winter Olympic medalist, Chen Peina, the world champion in windsurfing, and Huang Yunyao, the world champion of Hong Kong cycling, appeared at the event.

Yang Yang said that winning a championship not only means gold medals and honors, but also a kind of quality and ability. The Champions Fund is committed to promoting the physical education of young people and the career development of athletes, and helping more young people and athletes to realize their dreams and light up the future through the power of sports. It is hoped that the successful holding of the "Vibrant Bay Area Champions Walk Together" champion public welfare seminar can give full play to the influence of champions, convey the spirit of sports, reinvigorate confidence in the future, and contribute to the high-quality integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Yu Zaiqing, Hui Ruoqi, and Bao Mingxiao, Dean of the China Sports Policy Research Institute of Beijing Sport University, delivered keynote speeches respectively. Taking the Olympic Games as an example, Yu Zaiqing fully demonstrated the important role of sports in promoting peaceful development, promoting independent fermentation and promoting peace policies by combing through the development process of the Olympic Games in previous dynasties. Based on her own experience of participating in competitions and public welfare undertakings, Hui Ruoqi conveys the social value of sportsmanship across nationalities and languages, inspiring and inspiring generations to grow. Bao Mingxiao gave professional suggestions on the future development of the sports industry in the Bay Area from six aspects: building a global sports equipment manufacturing and trade center in the Bay Area, vigorously developing the digital sports industry, focusing on the integrated development of the sports industry, attaching importance to digital empowerment and scene revolution, focusing on innovation-driven and event-driven, and launching relevant policies for the first and first trial.

The Champion Symposium also featured three roundtable dialogues.

With the theme of "City Dialogue: The Role and Value of Sports in Promoting Integration and High-quality Urban Development in the Greater Bay Area", the first roundtable discussion was moderated by Zhou Zhichen, Vice President of Caixin Media and General Manager of Caixin Creative, and interviewed Chen Peina, Huang Yunyao and Bao Mingxiao, and Professor Huang Yu of the School of Communication of Hong Kong Baptist University.

With the theme of "Responsible Dialogue: Sports and Sustainable Social Development", Roundtable 3 was moderated by Sun Xiaofeng, Secretary-General of the Champion Fund, and panelists included Yang Yang, Vice Chairman of the Chinese Paralympic Committee Hou Bin, President and General Manager of Special Olympics East Asia Feng Meisun, Founding Partner and Chairman of Triumph Capital Tao Ye, and Project Leader Liu Shujing of the "Green Pepper Project".

On the afternoon of December 16, Sun Xiaofeng, Secretary-General of the Champion Fund, Yang Yang, the initiator of the Champion Fund, Zhang Jiahao, a snowboarder, and more than 10 other retired athletes, carried out athlete career planning courses for a total of 180 students from five schools, including Xiantian Foreign Chinese School in Longgang District, Ping'anli School of Longgao Education Group in Longgang District, Tongle Main School in Longgang District, Daoyuan School Affiliated to Hong Kong Chinese University (Shenzhen), and Shenzhen Sports School.
