On November 5, the 2023 Industrial Software Ecology Conference, co-organized by the Longgang District Government, was held in Shenzhen. The theme of this conference is "jointly building a new generation of industrial software system and leading the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry", and in accordance with the "1+10" model, 1 main forum of the industrial software ecology conference and 10 sub-forums of industrial software technology will be held.
It is reported that more than 200 enterprises, universities and research institutions across the country, with a new generation of industrial software architecture system and core technical standards as the center, meta-model and cloud geometry two major drivers, big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing triple enablement, construction of data, experience, tools, intelligence and other four key "root" technologies, the formation of a large number of new generation of industrial software innovation achievements.

The Guangdong Industrial Software Industry Fund has been registered in Shenzhen and completed the filing with the Asset Management Association of China, with an initial scale of RMB 2.1 billion, mainly investing in unlisted enterprises with leading technologies in the upstream and downstream fields of industrial software and its industrial chain, mainly investing in start-up and growth targets.
The above-mentioned funds will be managed by Shenzhen Innovation Investment Group Co., Ltd., with a subscription of 500 million yuan by Longgang District, combined with Shenzhen's "20+8" industrial plan, making full use of market mechanisms, driving social funds to invest in various key core technology areas of the industrial software industry, and striving to support a number of industrial software enterprises that can reduce the risk of software supply in the mainland manufacturing industry, improve design and production efficiency, and help China's industry achieve a leap from "big to strong".
The industrial software open source community was officially established
OpenGeometry Group (OGG), an open source project incubated by the Digital Industry Software Alliance and operated by Kaiyuan Geometry (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. as a service company, was officially established, and the project has landed in Longgang District.
The open source community will build the core "root" technology of a new generation of industrial software by building an open source software development platform with cloud geometry core, provide support for the product research and development of industrial software, and drive upstream and downstream manufacturers, service providers and other partners to participate, and finally form a virtuous circle of coordinated development of the industrial chain. At the same time, the open source community will also align the requirements and standards of the new generation of cloud geometry engine from the overall architecture, and strive to achieve the international advanced level in the first release version in 2024.
Longgang District carries out precise investment promotion
As the only district-level government, Longgang District set up investment booths at the exhibition site to carry out precise investment promotion. There is an endless stream of software companies coming to consult at the booth in Longgang District, and more than 50 enterprises have been received.
In recent years, in accordance with the "Several Measures to Support Industrial Development in Longgang District, Shenzhen", combined with the deployment of the "11+2" industrial cluster construction in Longgang District, in order to accelerate the cultivation of the software industry with distinctive characteristics and differentiated competitive advantages, and promote the realization of the development goal of building Longgang District into the third pole of the development of Shenzhen's software industry, Longgang District has formed a 1+1+2+N (one base, one fund, two policies, and multiple parks) development ideas, vigorously carried out software investment work, and relied on the base investment and policy guidance to attract Poisson Software, Nexperia Asia Pacific, Shanghai Xinhe, Beijing Shichuang, Honeycomb Internet and other 34 software companies have settled in Longgang, including 25 industrial software companies. The industrial software industry in Longgang District has covered industrial software and basic software such as CAD, CAE, CAM, EDA, CAPP, etc., and the industrial software industry pattern has taken shape.
