My Botanical Diary – October 23, 2023, the weather was nice, and snowflake lilies, which had not pilled this summer, began to sprout.

In previous years, my bulb plants, in the summer, would be bulbous, left in the refrigerator for the summer, replanted in September, the germination rate of the replanted bulbs is very uncertain, or because of the weather, or because of improper watering, some will not germinate or rotten balls, this summer's pilling narcissus has not germinated so far. Snowflake lotus (Fig. 1 Fig. 2 is the state of germination, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 is the state of flowering this spring) and sorrel grass (Fig. 5 Fig. 6) did not pill this summer, and they were placed in a cool and ventilated place throughout the summer, completely cut off from water and rain, and after September, the weather became cooler and the temperature became lower, they began to germinate, all 5 seed balls planted by snowflakes germinated, and sorrel grass even began to germinate even the seed balls that grew out of the earth.
