Xiao Jun was known as a "disciple of Lu Men" and had a certain influence in the literary world at that time. As the saying goes, literati are light, in Xiao Jun's diary, very few people he looked up to, his diary was later published in Hong Kong, causing a shock in the Chinese and foreign literary circles, but it was private at the time, and in life Xiao Jun continued to have contacts with these people who were evaluated by him.
The first object of Xiao Jun's public challenge in Yan'an was probably Xiao San, who despised Xiao San and hated Xiao San at the same time.

Here we should talk about the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Cultural Association, which was founded in 1937, when the responsible persons of the "Cultural Association" were Cheng Fangwu, Zhou Yang, and Ke Zhongping. The organs of the Cultural Association are located in Yan'an City. In November 1938, it was moved to Lanjiaping, north of Yan'an City. From January 4 to 12, 1940, the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Cultural Association held its first congress in the auditorium of Wangjiaping Women's University. Mao Zedong personally attended the congress and delivered a speech entitled "On New Democracy." The meeting elected Mao Zedong, Zhang Wentian, Wang Ming, Li Weihan, Wu Yuzhang, Xiao San, and ninety-seven others as members of the executive committee of the Cultural Association, with Wu Yuzhang as director, Ai Siqi and Ding Ling as deputy directors, and Wu Boxi as secretary general.
The "Cultural Association" gave special preferential treatment to Xiao San, who lived alone in a cave and sent a full-time attendant to deliver food and water for him.
In June 1940, Xiao Jun took his wife Wang Defen and daughter Xiao Ge to Yan'an, where a family of three lived in a cave, not far from Xiao San's cave.

As a result, Aischi was still in a chaotic state, and he stopped Xiao Jun, and he said unhurriedly: "Xiao Jun, what do you have any opinions, you can say ah, you can't be so barbaric." Xiao Jun looked at Aischi's face, and only then did he put away the dagger.
Yan'an
In Xiao Jun's diary, only two and a half people were praised positively, what are two and a half people?
One was Lin Boqu, who was the chairman of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region Government, and Xiao Jun praised "he was a warm and cautious old man"; the other was Xu Teli, who was the president of the Yan'an Academy of Natural Sciences, and Xiao Jun praised "this is a pure old man, an apostolic revolutionary, lovely and respectable."

At that time, Aischi was the secretary general of the Cultural Work Committee of the Central Propaganda Department, and concurrently served as the deputy director of the "Cultural Association", in charge of the work of the Cultural Association. I think Aischi is still a decent person, and he doesn't have any malicious intentions for me, who knows what is behind it.
It is precisely because Xiao Jun has the value of "decent people" for Aischi and has no malice towards him, so when he drew his sword to demonstrate to Xiao San, in the case of everyone's surprise, only Aischi dared to speak out and ordered Xiao Jun not to play this set at the meeting, and Xiao Jun actually bought Aischi's account.
