On the Loess Plateau in northern Shaanxi, there is a folk song that sings, "Organize red army guerrillas and lead the poor to turn their bodies over." Loving Chairman Mao, Dan was in a mood. In just a few words, the deeds of Liu Zhidan, a heroic model who made outstanding contributions to the birth of New China, are vividly depicted and appropriate.

In 1903, Liu Zhidan was born in an ordinary family in Baoan, Shaanxi Province, in that chaotic world, where warlords were fighting for power and profit everywhere, but it was ordinary people who suffered.
However, no matter in what era, Chinese in their bones believe in reading, and always believe in the words of Old Master Kong, "Qi family rules the country and the world", reading can not only change a person's fate, but also change the future of a country.
It was not until the age of 19 that Liu Zhidan was admitted to Yulin Middle School, when the Chinese Communist Party had just celebrated its first birthday.
A small number of party members also rushed to the north and south of the great river to sow the seeds of shining China in order to establish a new China, and Li Zizhou and others who taught at Yulin Middle School were the spark of this northern Shaanxi.
It was also under the influence of Li Zizhou and others that Liu Zhidan knew what Was Marxist Thought, What Was Leninism, and What Was Communist China. And he also believes that China's fate will be deeply linked to the Communist Party, and that if we want to get rid of the old China, we can only rely on the leadership of the Communist Party.
Liu Zhidan, who received a new ideological education, became a truly progressive youth, gradually joining the student movement and the anti-warlord movement.
In 1925, Liu Zhidan, who had just joined the Communist Party, was admitted to the infantry section of the Huangpu Phase IV under the party's arrangement, and the Huangpu IV Phase IV can be described as a star-like star, with many talents, and is the only student who can compete with the Huangpu Phase I.
Among the generals in our party who are also in the Fourth Infantry Section with Liu Zhidan are Wu Zhonghao, Zeng Xisheng, and Zhao Shangzhi. There are also many talents in the Kuomintang, including Hu Lian, Zhang Lingfu, Xie Jinyuan, Lai Chuanxiang, and so on.
After Liu Zhidan graduated from Huangpu, Liu Zhidan participated in the Northern Expedition, but the good times were short-lived, the Northern Expedition had not yet been completely successful, Mr. Zhongshan's last wish had not yet been realized, and old Chiang Kai-shek openly provoked the banner of cruelty to the Communists.
Liu Zhidan could only temporarily live in the Northwest Army, waiting for the opportunity to seek further development.

After the Nanchang Uprising and the Autumn Harvest Uprising in 28 years, Liu Zhidan and comrades in the northwest launched the Weihua Uprising. The first revolutionary detachment was raised in the northwest to fight against the Jin Sui Army in northern Shaanxi.
After the opening of the Jinggangshan revolutionary base area, Liu Zhidan was deeply inspired and prepared to open up a base area belonging to our party in the northern Shaanxi region, and this revolutionary contingent of less than a thousand people established more than 40 revolutionary zones in less than three months, accumulating a great deal of experience and cultivating quite a few talents for the military struggle in northern Shaanxi.
However, after all, it was a weak force, under the encirclement and suppression of the three divisions of the Kuomintang, the rebel army was scattered, and Liu Zhidan could only take a small number of soldiers who protruded from the siege to a remote mountainous area to continue to struggle with the reactionaries, and later merged with the rebel troops who failed in the Qingjian Uprising to form the famous Southern Liang guerrillas.
At the end of 32 years, this contingent, which had grown to more than 2,000 people, came under the command of the Party Central Committee and was officially awarded the title of The Twenty-sixth Army of the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
After the completion of the Twenty-sixth Army, it insisted on fighting the Kuomintang in northern Shaanxi and opening up base areas. However, this was deeply resented by Yan Xishan's Jin Sui army, which organized encirclement and suppression many times, and the troops were forced to move to the Weinan region. At this time, there were serious left-leaning mistakes in the party, and this revolutionary contingent that had been pulled up in the Shaanxi-Gansu region was betrayed by the traitor Du Heng.
Liu Zhidan, who was bent on serving the party and adhering to the revolution, did not give up his revolutionary belief because of this, but led the remnants to continue to carry out guerrilla warfare, firmly believing that there was always a point, and the red star would definitely shine on China.
In the autumn of 1935, the Red Twenty-fifth Army took the lead in reaching northern Shaanxi and met with Liu Zhidan's Twenty-sixth Army in victory, just when there was a thriving scene, Liu Zhidan was framed by the opportunists and speculators in northern Shaanxi for betraying the revolution, and was almost buried alive.
At this moment, Chairman Mao, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, and other central leaders traveled thousands of mountains, and Yue Wanshui finally reached northern Shaanxi, resolutely corrected the mistakes of the party organization in northern Shaanxi, and released Liu Zhidan and others.
As one of the founders of the revolutionary base area in northern Shaanxi, Liu Zhidan was also excited about the arrival of Chairman Mao and the Party Central Committee, and at that time he expressed his obedience to the leadership of Chairman Mao and the Party Central Committee. At this point, Liu Zhidan's selflessness and dedication to justice are not excessively called models for all generations.
In 1936, Chairman Mao and others repeatedly demanded that the nationalist government of chiang kai-shek abandon the civil war and jointly resist the aggression of the Japanese army, but chiang was unmoved and bent on making enemies of the Communist Party to the end. Seeing that old Chiang Kai-shek's attitude had not changed in the slightest, the Central Committee decided to launch an eastern crusade with the intention of breaking the Blockade of the Kuomintang and directly confronting the occupation of Japan, but this was blocked by Yan Xishan's madness.
On April 14, Liu Zhidan led the Red Twenty-eighth Army, in coordination with Peng Dehuai's command in the battle of Zhongyang County, Shanxi, died in the battle of Zhongyang County, Shanxi, such a general who was bent on serving the country, did not die on the battlefield of the anti-Japanese war, but died at the hands of his own people.

Liu Zhidan's wife is tong Guirong, she is two years younger than Liu Zhidan, but she is also a good assistant to Liu Zhidan.
During the revolution, Liu Zhidan and Guirong always supported her husband's cause and also joined the Communist Party, and after Chairman Mao arrived in northern Shaanxi, he became good friends with Guirong and his wife He Zizhen, and Chairman Mao's daughter Li Min was delivered to Guirong.
After Liu Zhidan's sacrifice, Tong Guirong and his seven-year-old daughter Liu Lizhen persisted in the revolution and unswervingly adhered to her husband's legacy. She was often responsible for delivering letters to the organization, and also worked in the factories of the Red Army, sewing clothes for the soldiers, and everyone affectionately called her "Sister-in-law Liu".
After the news of Liu Zhidan's sacrifice was learned by the Kuomintang troops, they ran to Liu Zhidan's hometown and not only cut open the ancestral grave of the Liu family, but also threatened to severely punish the Old and Young Liu family. In order to protect the Liu family from being harmed, Tong Guirong often took his family to hide in the deep mountains and dense forests, sometimes hiding for seven or eight days, living in a hole where he could not see his five fingers.
After the founding of New China, Tong Guirong continued to work in preschool education until his retirement, at the age of 94. Liu Zhidan's daughter, Liu Lizhen, also lived up to the expectations of the people, was an outstanding communist party member of our party, and served as the deputy director of the Shaanxi People's Congress.
He died on November 3, 2014 at the age of 85 due to illness.
