Chang Baolin was born in 1924, and Chang Guitian's mother, Sang Xiuru, was also born in 1924. What a coincidence. Sang Xiuru's father, Sang Zhenkui, was the eldest brother of Chang Baokun's father, Chang Lian'an Baizi. At that time, Chang Lian'an prostrated himself with three friends who were older than him, and everyone could not live together, but they wanted to die together, including Sang Zhenkui. In addition to Sang Zhenkui, there was also Hou Yichen, who spoke cross-talk. Hou Yichen was an apprentice of Guo Rongqi's father, Guo Ruilin. Later, Chang Lian'an asked his second son Chang Baolin to worship Hou Yichen as his teacher. Among Chang Lian'an's three righteous brothers, Sang Zhenkui was the oldest.
Sang Zhenkui is a string master and a businessman. After his pocket bulged, he opened a xiangsheng garden in Tianjin, named "Baohexuan", where Ma Sanli and his partner Geng Baolin had spoken of xiangsheng. After graduating from middle school, Chang Guitian had to find a job, and the fourth uncle Chang Baohua said to Chang Guitian's mother, Sang Xiuru, or let Xiao Gui talk to each other. Xiao Gui is the nickname of Chang Gui Tian. Here Xiao Tao said more, Chang Baohua's eldest son Changqing also wanted to say crosstalk when he grew up, but Chang Baohua did not agree. Chang Guitian's younger brother Chang Guixiang did not speak cross-talk, but was admitted to the Chinese Opera School to study Peking Opera. After graduation, he was assigned to the Peking Opera House in China. Since then, he has been singing in the National Peking Opera House and becoming a national first-class actor. Later, he served as a director and rehearsed many scenes, including "Iron Rooster". According to Chang Guitian's recollection before his death, when he was a child, his father took him and his brother to see this play.
Chang Guitian's sister Chang Hong also did not go to college. When she graduated from high school, she caught up with the mountains and went to the countryside to jiangxi to join the team, and then moved to Shanghai, and finally returned to Beijing to settle down. Chang Guitian's ninth uncle, Chang Baofeng, wrote "Chang Hong" as "Chang Hong" in his dictated book "My Father Chang Lian'an". On April 23, 1951, Chang Baokun was killed on the Korean battlefield at the age of twenty-nine. At that time, Sang Xiuru was only twenty-seven years old. Since then, Sang Xiuru has not remarried, and she has painstakingly pulled her three children up and been widowed for sixty years. In 2011, Sang Xiuru died of illness. At the farewell ceremony, Liu Lanfang, then chairman of the China Ququ Association, said to Chang Guitian: "For the sake of you children, after your father's death, your mother not only did not remarry, but also worked hard, abandoning her own happiness and raising you to adulthood." This is not something that the average person can do! Liu Lanfang was right. Chang Guitian not only has a heroic father (Chang Baokun is a revolutionary martyr and the only people's artist in China's cross-talk industry), but also a great mother!
