Moreover, there are also new forces that cannot be underestimated among the descendants of the Chang family who have emerged, he is Chang Jinluan, the grandson of the "Ninth Master" Chang Baofeng.
Chang Jinluan, who has just turned eight years old, grew up in the parents of his grandfather Chang Baofeng, and the rich cross-talk atmosphere in the family makes him dazzle. According to Mr. Baofeng's recollection, Chang Jinluan lived with me when he was one and a half years old, and did not deliberately act on whether to train him to inherit the Chang family art business in the future. When he was about three years old, I remember one day when Li Boxiang's cross-talk was broadcast on TV, he sat on the sofa and watched intently, making him laugh at every time he came to the baggage. This child actually speaks late, three years old can only simply call grandpa, grandma, did not expect to be able to understand cross-talk, which made me feel quite surprised. For children to say cross-talk, I have always advocated to retain the childlike side of children, from the content of the paragraph to the performance style should be natural. To put it simply, the baggage of the paragraph is suitable for children to act, and it is performed like a child rather than pretending to be old.1
Now eight years old, Chang Jinluan, in addition to completing his studies, frequently followed his grandfather on various stages. Standing on a chair at a young age and saying crosstalk, this has a precedent in the Chang family. More than thirty years ago, 6-year-old Chang Yuan also stood in a chair and said hello to his grandfather Chang Baohua on the stage of the Spring Festival Gala. And Chang Jinlu's talent is that he is always full of desire for the stage, enjoying the feeling of performing on the stage to bring joy to others. His gesture on the stage is the same as mr. Chang Baofeng's handsome typhoon when he was young. The grandchildren partnered to make some "children's cheers" passages, which still made the audience burst into applause and laughter.
In the opening performance of the Chang's Xiangsheng Centenary Special Performance in May last year, 7-year-old Chang Jinluan officially took the stage for the first time and said a group cross-talk "Daoxi" with Chang Baoqing, Liu Junjie, Chang Yuan, Li Ran and Yang Kaihe. Subsequently, in the special performance of Zhangjiakou, he and his grandfather once again appeared on stage to cooperate in a period of "Family Little Living Treasure". In January this year, invited by the CCTV variety channel "I Love Full of Color", Chang Jinluan and grandpa presented a cross-talk short section of "Intelligence Test" to the audience. In the closing performance of Chang's Centenary in April, in front of thousands of spectators, Chang Jinluan and Wang Peiyuan jointly staged a cross-talk short section of "Three or Five Sentences", although the paragraph was short, but in the performance process, the gods made Xiang'er just right. Not only that, but also showed a small section of "Geographical Map" for the audience, eight-year-old children can write nearly a hundred place names on their backs, and more rarely, they can also let the insider audience hear the sense of rhythm, the breath is accurate, and the words are clear.
For Chang Jinluan, cross-talk is his heartfelt love. In the past four or five years, grandpa Chang Baofeng's oral transmission has made him slowly understand what is cross-talk and what kind of cross-talk should be said. As a descendant of the Chang family, the art on stage and the conduct offstage are the foundations that ChangJiamen pays the most attention to. A few years later, whether Chang Jinluan could carry the banner of Chang's cross-talk still needed to be tested by the audience through his works. But at least eight-year-old Chang Jinluan's self-confidence and intelligence on the cross-talk stage have allowed the audience who admire Chang's cross-talk to see the rise of another potential star in the fourth generation of Chang!
