One day, I asked my father, "What is a well-off life?" Dad opened the conversation box and talked about his childhood life.
Dad said that when he was a child, he used to bring his own lunch box to school, and he would take it out to eat at noon. The weather was warm and good, but in the winter, the north wind was blowing, and there was only one standing stove in the class, so I had to put the rice on the stove and eat it when it was hot. Sometimes there are too many lunch boxes, the heat is not transparent, and the rice in the lunch box is still with ice ballast. Now, I eat nutritious meals at school, and I can eat the taste of the mountains and the sea almost every day in our lunch boxes. When dad was a child, he had very few clothes and a very simple color. Dad was looking forward to the New Year, and Grandma would like to make him a new dress. Dad said that when he was a child, he lived in an earthen house, with evergreen grass on the wall in the spring, and when the roof leaked in the rainy season, catching up with the rainy days, the gable wall collapsed. In 1985, the family built only three brick houses, and the family was happier than the New Year. Now, we have long lived in the building, and in the past few years, we have also lived in the villa. Dad had a particularly limited supply of school supplies when he was in school. Dad walked to school every day, and when it rained, he was afraid that his shoes would get wet, so he walked barefoot on the ground.
