Kang Sheng (1898-1975), formerly known as Zhang Zongke, was a Shaoqing, formerly known as Zhao Rong, Zhang Rong, Zhang Yun, with the nickname Zhang Wang, and pen name Lu Chishui, a native of Zhucheng County, Shandong.
Kang Sheng was not only born in a family of scholars, but also graduated from Zhucheng Teachers' Training Institute and Shanghai University, which belongs to Zhucheng Famous Gate.
Kang Sheng joined the party in 1925 and then led the work of the secret front for a long time. Later, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman of the CPC Central Committee, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He died in 1975.
Influenced by his family, Kang Sheng began to be exposed to literary and artistic works at an early age, so he was good at traditional Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting and collection, and his artistic attainments were once said to be one of the best among many CCP leaders. He is proficient in cultural relics collection and appreciation calligraphy (zhang cao), Chinese painting has a certain achievement.
Wu Faxian, alias: Wu Wenyu. A native of Yongfeng County, Jiangxi Province. Born in 1915. Education is unknown.
During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, Wu Faxian served as the youth officer of the 105th Regiment of the Red Twelfth Army, the chief of the Youth Section of the 64th Division, the secretary of the General Branch of the 2nd Regiment of the 2nd Division of the Red 1st Army, and the political commissar of the regiment. Participated in the Long March. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, he served as deputy director of the Political Office of the 684th Regiment of the 343rd Brigade of the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army, political commissar of the 685th Regiment, director and political commissar of the Political Department of the Suluyu Detachment, and director of the Political Department of the Third Division of the New Fourth Army. During the Liberation War, he served as deputy political commissar of the Western Liaoning Military Region, deputy political commissar of the Second Column of the Northeast Democratic United Army, political commissar of the Thirty-ninth Army of the Fourth Field Army, and deputy political commissar and director of the Political Department of the Fourteenth Corps. After the founding of New China, Wu Faxian served as deputy political commissar and director of the political department of the Air Force of the people's liberation army of the Chinese, political commissar and commander of the air force, deputy chief of general staff and commander of the air force of the Chinese people's liberation army. He is a deputy to the Second and Third National People's Congresses. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general, and was awarded the Order of August 1, Second Class, the Order of Independence and Freedom, First Class, and the Liberation Medal, First Class. He died in 2004.
