Alicia Vikander ( born 1988 ) is a Swedish actress. Alicia rose to fame in the Danish film Affair after several small roles in film and television, followed by many American films such as 2013's The Fifth Estate, and in 2014's Ex-Machine, where she played Ava, an artificially intelligent robot who discovered her consciousness, her work received incredible acclaim.
In 2015, Alicia won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in The Danish Girl for the first time. She also starred in films such as Tulip Fever, Tomb Raider and Euphoria. While filming Light Across the Ocean, she met and fell in love with actor Michael Fassbender.
