Hello everyone Alicia Vikander recently offered the Tomb Raider 2 update, which has teased the long-awaited sequel. Based on the video game of the same name, Tomb Raider is an action-adventure film that chronicles the early adventures of Laura Croft, a brave explorer and destroyer of priceless artifacts. Maybe the last point wasn't part of her official job description, but I've seen Laura smash a lot of old pottery in my time. At first, Free Fire's Ben Wheatley planned to take the helm of Vikander's 2018 reboot sequel, but that arrangement failed. The sequel will now be directed by Misha Green of Lovecraft Country, and Vikander is thrilled with the film's bold direction.
In conversation with Total Film, Vikander offered the Tomb Raider 2 update, which is sure to get fans excited about Laura's grand return.
"I was really excited when the studio first said they were interested in a sequel," Vikander said. "When I mention Misha, I see the work of Lovecraft Country and it leaves a very deep impression on me."
Vikander then spoke about her excitement about working with another talented woman, Green, the same age as Vikander, and some of the big action movies they planned for the sequel.
"Zoom, which I played with Misha, was so funny to end up sitting with another woman my age," Vikander recalls. "I can talk about the big action movies and stunts we want to make. I want us to get on track and do something together. ”
Considering Tomb Raider in 2018, I hope we'll get plenty of two-handed gunfights and fancy acrobatics in the next issue. Sure, Laura's dream was to face the vicious Tyrannosaurus Rex like she did in the original game, but there were some things that told me it wouldn't happen.
Currently, the working title for the Tomb Raider sequel is Obsidian, and Green has completed a draft of the script. The film is still a long way from production, although it sounds like Vikander is ready to tie her hair into tight braids and get started. I hope the sequel pushes Vikander to her limits because she's a great body actress and tenacious in the role of Laura Croft. No other casts have announced a sequel. However, I've been waiting for a cameo from Laura's housekeeper Winston Smith, who is always ready to be next to a cup of hot tea and cookies with an exasperated groan.
