Inspired by the spirit of polar adventure (and good looking!) )

In July 1952, a British North Greenland expedition of 30 British scientists and sailors traveled to Greenland for a two-year scientific study of the ice sheet, conducting in-depth glacier surveys and seismic surveys in many parts of the ice sheet. That year, Tudor prepared the brand's famous first self-winding waterproof watch, the Oyster Prince. During the two-year period of polar research, the Oyster Prince watch showed excellent durability and precision, which was later specifically mentioned in the thank-you letters written by the expedition team members to Tudor.

In order to commemorate the feats and adventurous spirit of polar exploration 70 years ago, Tudor has launched a new Ranger watch. A 39 mm diameter stainless steel watch with tudor's in-house MOVEMENT MT5402.

In fact, as early as 1929, Tudor founder Hans Wilsdorf had registered the name "Ranger", which did not refer specifically to the Tudor Ranger models, but to add an adventurous element to some of its models. The aesthetic style and characteristics of the Tudor Ranger type were gradually formed in the 1960s. For example, the 3, 6, 9, 12 extra-large digital hour markers on the watch, as well as pear-shaped hands, etc., are derived from the design of the time. In 1973, a Ranger watch called the "Ranger II" appeared. In 2014, Tudor launched the Heritage Ranger, continuing the exploratory spirit and characteristics of the Ranger watch.

This year's new Ranger watch adds more practical features to the legacy of the past. The stainless steel case is polished and brushed to create a rich layer of time. Compared to other graduated rotatable bezels, the Ranger's fixed bezel is more simple and powerful. The MT5402 in-house calibre is equipped with a silicon hairspring, a 70-hour power reserve, and COSC Swiss Astronomical Too certified, precise and durable, more in line with the needs of modern life. In addition to the brand logo at 12 o'clock on the dial, the word "RANGER" is also specially marked at 6 o'clock, and the A-class Swiss Super-LumiNova® luminous coating is coated on the hour marker and the hands.

The watch is available with three straps. The stainless steel strap is equipped with a Tudor "T-fit" buckle for quick adjustment. There is also an olive-green webbing strap with two red stripes and a beige stripe, and a leather rubber composite strap that balances comfort and appearance. The stainless steel strap is priced at 22,900RMB and the fabric/composite strap is priced at 20,500RMB

After getting started, it gives people a slightly retro and concise style, which is suitable for daily work scenes, matching tooling, and can strengthen the outdoor sports style, but it has a completely different taste from the sports models with wide bezels such as diving, two-place time, and chronograph that are popular today. 39 mm size. It is not too big for girls, and it is more Sven for boys, this retro new work full of polar exploration spirit, both men and women look good~
