The remaining gull is an endangered migratory bird of the genus Gulls of the family Gullidae, a medium-sized waterfowl with a body length of about 40 cm. Breeding grounds are concentrated in China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Russia, and the remaining gulls inhabit desert saltwater lakes and alkaline lakes at altitudes of 1200-1500 meters. The International Committee for the Protection of Birds has listed it in the Red Book of World Endangered Species, and China has listed it as a protected animal at the national level.
