The President of the United States was almost eaten by the Japanese during World War II.

The 1941 Attack on Pearl Harbor by the Little Japanese inflicted great humiliation on the Americans. Young Americans have signed up to join the army to take revenge on little Japan, including the later US President George H.W. Bush. He successfully joined the Navy and became an Avengers bomber pilot.

In September 1944, during the operation against the Ogasawara Islands, Bush Sr. and his comrades flew to the bombing mission over Parent Island, but the Japanese anti-aircraft artillery fire was more intense than expected, and his landplane was unfortunately hit.

Bush reluctantly forced the plane to land on the surface of the sea, and then struggled to climb onto the life raft. The Japanese sent ships to try to capture him, but the American planes that came to the rescue opened fire fiercely, repelling the Japanese. Finally, after drifting at sea for three or four hours, the U.S. submarine Fin Whale arrived and rescued The Elder Bush.

But his comrades were not so lucky, and those who survived were all captured by the Japanese.

The Japanese never had a kind attitude towards prisoners of war, and torture was indispensable, but for the prisoners of war on Parent Island, what awaited them was an even more terrible encounter.

Chichijima is the main island of the Ogasawara Islands and is an important transit point and supply point for japanese troops entering and leaving the South Pacific. But this is not the focus of the U.S. offensive, the U.S. military wants to attack Iwo Jima, located southwest of Chichijima. For Parent Island, the U.S. military only carried out tentative air raids, and due to the special terrain of Parent Island, the U.S. air raids had little effect and suffered heavy losses.

In February 1945, the U.S. military officially gathered a large army to capture Iwo Jima. When U.S. artillery fire was pouring down on Iwo Jima, the captured Americans on Chichijima became the target of Retaliation by the Japanese.

On 23 February, the Japanese executed two Americans.

The Japanese commander of Pachijima, Yoshio Tachibana, believed that eating the enemy's flesh would give the soldiers courage.

So the next day, he and some of the officers ate part of the corpse.

Subsequently, more Japanese troops joined the cannibalistic ranks, and American prisoners of war were killed one after another.

In fact, in the Pacific War, there were many incidents of Japanese cannibalism, but most of them were starved of ammunition and extreme hunger.

However, as a supply base, there is no shortage of materials, and the cannibalism incident that occurred on Chichijima was entirely due to the retaliation of the brutal Japanese army.

In September 1945, U.S. troops officially landed on Chichijima to accept Japan's surrender. But when they tried to rescue the prisoners of war, they found only mutilated bodies.

Bush Sr. has been fighting with submarines since he was rescued by submarines, and when he returned to the aircraft carrier to prepare for the japanese mainland, two atomic bombs ended the war.

The elder Bush was fortunate to escape the fate of being eaten, and after the war, he stepped onto the presidency step by step, of course, all of which was indispensable to the assistance of the family.

Interestingly, at the 1992 Japanese state dinner, when the waiter served a salmon sashimi, the elder Bush suddenly felt uncomfortable and vomited on the Japanese prime minister, I don't know if there was a shadow on the Japanese...
