A few days ago, the China Folk Writers Association launched the "China Association of Folk Writers" on its official WeChat platform "China Association of Intellectual Property Rights Theme Paper-cutting Exhibition", and the Mulam paper-cut work "Essence of the Country Intangible Cultural Heritage" created by Luo Huaqing, the inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level, is the only work in our city.
The Mulam paper-cut work "The Essence of the Country Intangible Cultural Heritage" adopts the traditional paper-cutting technique of the Mulam ethnic group, and the whole work appears full and heavy. Luo Huaqing introduced: "In order to highlight the personality characteristics of the characters, cut the faces and limbs of the characters, use the technique of yang scissors, cut off the block surface, leave lines, and the characters will appear vivid and interesting and lifelike. In the cutting of grass dragon, slope fixation, bathing fire phoenix at the same time, cleverly selected the combination of yin and yang cutting method, the traditional paper-cutting body is yang, the foil part is yin, yin scissors and yang paper-cutting in the form is the contrast between white and black, virtual and real, the perfect combination of yin and yang cutting, making the whole work both exquisite and full of charm. When cutting the dragon body, the cutting method of broken shearing is selected to achieve the line and line are broken, which is used to express the dragon scales and dragon whiskers. When cutting the fire phoenix and the coal sand can, the use of the Mulam paper-cutting method is to cut paper with one hand and turn the paper with the other hand when cutting paper, so that both hands can be used at the same time, so that the cut lines are soft and not rough. ”
Luocheng Mulao Autonomous County has 1015 intangible cultural heritage items, of which "Mulao Yi Rice Festival", "Mulao Paper-cutting", "Mulao Dancing Grass Dragon", "Mulao Coal Sand Can Production", "Mulao Ethnic Slope Walking Festival" and other projects have been listed as representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the national and autonomous region levels.
The "China Nationalities Association Intellectual Property Theme Paper-cutting Exhibition" received more than 1,000 submissions from 26 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, from which the China Association of Nationalities selected 315 public exhibitions, and 8 paper-cut works in Guangxi were selected for this online exhibition.
