IT Home April 25 news, according to the BBC Tech Update news, Microsoft's new Surface Pro X appeared on the Geekbench running sub-platform, confirmed to be equipped with Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 processor.
As shown in the figure above, the ID of this device is "OEMVL OEMVL", and foreign media said that this naming scheme has been used by Microsoft before for Surface Pro series, Surface Laptop, Surface Book and even Surface Go, so it can be basically determined that this is the 2022 model of Surface Pro X.
The new Surface Pro X is equipped with a Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 processor, equipped with 16GB of memory, single-core running score of 1005 points, multi-core 5574 points, the score is slightly lower than the previously exposed ThinkPad X13s running score (1110, 5736), not as low as Intel's latest i5-1235U processor, not as much as Apple's M1 chip.

IT House has reported that last September, Microsoft released the Surface Pro X, which uses a custom Microsoft SQ2 processor based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 processor. Microsoft also announced some improvements to Windows 11 ARM: including an optimized version of Office that supports 64-bit plug-ins, and full support for x86 and x64 emulation.
