Jiang Zhongkui's original book advocates love and evil, and all the sentences of sexual evil in Xunshu are all said to be sentences of love and evil, and it is also proved that Xunzi also talks about sexual goodness, and "sexual goodness and evil" are integrated. There were many scholars before 1950 who advocated that Xun Quan's "sexual evil" was evil in lust or the result of lust, such as Chen Dengyuan's 1928 "Xunzi Philosophy" on lust and evil, and Wang Guowei's 1905 "Xunzi Theory" on lust and evil. As for the theory of "sexual disgust and goodness", Guo Moruo and others have discussed it earlier; Yan Shi'an's theory only follows Zhou Zhaocheng's theory. Almost all of the inventions of today's people have not gone beyond the old theories of history, and they are nothing more than imitations or rhetoric, and even no shortage of rumors in Xun's situation to seek truth and scientific research, and to create rumors in the name of innovation.

It is impossible for Xun Ton to really hold seventy or eight or ninety theories of human nature, most of which must be false and false. There is only one kind of historical correspondence between Meng Xun and even Confucius, and there are many kinds of depictions and sayings, which may not be true, especially in the deductive theory of missreading of chapters and sentences (confusion) and invalid logic (confusion).

Xun Zi's theory of sexual truth is still under the Nine Springs of Lanling, and the Land of Lanling knows best, it must be so. Now that Mencius's "theory of sexual goodness" with courtesy and righteousness has been subverted and dismembered by scientific research, the xun situation that has been subverted and flipped can still be comforted: who history has spared, the opportunity is equal, and the xun situation rests in peace.

[Yang Wanjiang] The mind and sex can be equated in the tradition of mind science, that is, sex speaks of the heart, that is, the heart says sex. But it is not equivalent here in Xunzi. This is first of all a difference in the concept of "sex". Xunzi's concept of sex is what Mencius called "therefore only", that is, the cause and characteristic of being "the one who is human". Or sex is a property that can explain the characteristics of how people behave in this way. Mencius called this "fate." Mencius's so-called "sex" refers to the virtue of benevolence, righteousness, and wisdom, and is manifested as the four hearts. In this way, sex and mind can be the nature of the heart, or the heart of the heart. But in the Xunzi theory of sexual evil, he did not admit that in the natural state man has a substantial goodness like Mencius's four hearts, and sex is not sexual goodness, but sexual evil. Then it cannot be the sexual speech of the heart, or the nature of the heart. Xunzi only acknowledges the deliberative effect of the human heart and the characteristics of the attitude of "good, good, evil and evil". But this is not the substance of the goodness of mind, but the attitude of the good.

Conceptually, although "sex" and "mind" are not equivalent, "sex" is often expressed through "heart". For example, Xunzi said that people are "born to be profitable", which is a stable interest orientation and is implemented as an action to pursue profits. As a interest orientation, it is always manifested in the action motive that governs people's actions, and it will show a motivating characteristic from the heart. Just as "good, good, evil" is an attitude trait expressed by human nature.

Xunzi particularly emphasized the freedom of the mind to dominate people's actions ("the heart is in the middle of the void, to rule the five senses"). Therefore, all the characteristics of human behavior will express the behavior governed by the motivation of the human heart.
