The Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese launched the 2022 "Family Love China • Tell You Stories" online summer camp activity

The reason why children were able to meet the "Ice Pier" perfectly on Children's Day in Turkey is thanks to the 2022 "Family Love China • Tell You Stories" online summer camp - "Love the Giant Panda" theme camp activity opened by the Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese from April 20th. Wang Ziyi's father, Wang Xinghua, as the president of the Izmir Overseas Chinese Association in Turkey and the station manager of the Izmir station of the Chengdu Overseas Workstation, learned of this news and called on the school-age children in the families of the members of the association to actively participate and feel the culture of the motherland. "Sichuan culture is an important part of Chinese culture, and pandas are Sichuan's business card and national treasure, and have repeatedly represented China to go abroad." Due to the impact of the Winter Olympics on the world, the current 'ice pier' has become an important carrier for displaying Chinese culture. In addition, I am from Sichuan and have a strong sense of hometown. Affected by the epidemic, the children have not returned to their ancestral home country for more than two years to experience the culture of the motherland. This activity launched by the Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese can understand Sichuan and embrace the motherland without leaving home. It is hoped that through this study, the children will transmit Chinese elements and Sichuan culture to the host country and become a small messenger of Chinese culture transmission. ”

According to Tang Shan, a staff member of the Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, more than 900 children from 14 countries, 24 overseas Chinese educational institutions and overseas Chinese associations, including the Izmir Overseas Chinese Association in Turkey, have signed up to participate in this year's online summer camp - "Love the Giant Panda" theme camp. After that, the Sichuan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese also plans to launch 5 different theme activities to let more overseas Chinese teenagers feel Chinese culture.
