One day more than 30 years ago, a student named Song Qing at Xunyang Middle School in Shaanxi Province accidentally picked up a round stone that was pitch black and the size of a "dice" on the way home from school, but when he looked at it, it had 26 sides, and each side was engraved with red calligraphy inscriptions of different sizes. The student was curious, guessing that it should be an old antique.
But what the hell is this? What is it for? The young Song Qing took this rare object and came to the Xunyang Museum (good boy). But even if the museum staff held this "dice" for half a day, they could not say why, and finally they could only be left as ordinary "old objects".
In this way, this cultural relic, whose origin is unknown, was arbitrarily shelved in an inconspicuous corner by the local museum, lying down for 10 years.

It is not difficult to understand why it was abandoned in a remote corner for 10 years, after all, ordinary people and even museum staff only knew that chinese characters were engraved when they saw this "unknown object". However, if you look at someone who knows a little calligraphy, you can see at a glance that the calligraphy style of this cultural relic is biased towards the Wei monument, and the penmanship is excellent, the bone strength is strong, and the momentum is open.

All indications are that this is not an ordinary artifact. A stone-shattering mystery is about to be unveiled.
Finally, 10 years after the cultural relics picked up by the teenager were handed over to the county museum, when an archaeologist from Shaanxi Province went to the local museum to inspect and exchange views of this "dice", he shouted with great excitement:
"Isn't this the seal of solitary faith?" Oh my God, it's here! ”
At this point, after a number of experts have studied and determined that the life of this "dice" has finally been revealed: this is the "multi-faceted seal" of the dingding famous lonely letter.

Where is the solitary faith? He is one of the most legendary figures in Chinese history, his ancestral home is Yunzhong County (present-day Datong City, Shanxi Province), the Xianbei people, the Northern Dynasty Wuchuan Town (now Wuchuan, Inner Mongolia), lived in 502-557 years, known in history as "beauty instrument, good riding and shooting". When he was a teenager, he liked to decorate and pay attention to dressing, so he enjoyed the reputation of "lonely man" in the military camp. Later, because of his outstanding achievements in governance, he was given the name of letter by Yuwen Tai, a western Wei chancellor, that is, a lonely letter.

Dugu Xin is also known as the "most cattle old man" in Chinese history, he has 7 daughters, and one is better married than the other:
Lonely Banruo: The eldest daughter of lonely faith. Married to Yuwen Tai's eldest son Yuwen Yu, he wholeheartedly assisted Yuwen Yu, and eventually became the first empress of the Dugu Xin family when Yu Wen Yu became emperor, and because of her, Du Gu Xin was made the Duke of Wei, and since then the Du Lonely Family has also been honored. It's just that this daughter died at a young age.
Lonely Mandala: The fourth daughter of Lonely Faith. She was the mother of Li Yuan, the founding emperor of the Tang Dynasty, who called the empress dowager empress dowager empress dowager, and Dugu Xin was posthumously honored as the Prince of Liang with her daughter.
Lonely Garo: The youngest daughter of Lonely Faith is also the seventh daughter. He was married to the founding emperor of the Sui Dynasty, Emperor Wen of Sui, Yang Jian, empress dowager, and Dugu Xin was posthumously awarded the title of Duke of Zhao.

This multi-faceted seal is made of coal essence, which is a precious gemstone, also known as coal jade, which is extremely tough and very suitable for carving. After polishing, coal essence has a bright asphalt and metallic luster, in ancient China, coal essence was often used as the four treasures of the literary room of aristocratic literati and inkers, such as pen holders, brick tables, etc., and sometimes also made into beads or furnishings, which was expensive.

The seal consists of a total of 8 edges and 26 faces, of which 18 are square faces and the rest are triangles. On the obverse of these 14, there is a yin script engraved with the position of Dugu Xin in the Northern Wei Dynasty, and the content of the seal can be divided into three categories: the seal of official documents, such as "Dadu Governor's Seal", "Great Sima Seal", "Seal of the Pillar State", "Ling", and "Secret"; the seal of the upper book, such as "Chenxin Shangshu" and "Chenxin Shangzhang"; the shuxin seal, such as "Dugu Letter White Book" and "Letter Notice", which support the prominent status of DuguXin.

The discovery of this national treasure not only adds an important "calligraphy work", but also complements the ancient use of printing on the mainland.

This strange stone from the folk was later proved to be a rare cultural relic for the study of the Northern Wei seal system - the coal fine multi-faceted seal, which is the seal with the largest number of prints and the largest number of orthography characters in the mainland so far, and it is used for three purposes in one seal.
This seal artifact, inscribed with calligraphic inscriptions, advances the history of the known inscriptions by more than 400 years. It is the first time it has been found among the existing excavated cultural relics on the mainland. Because of its rare historical value, it was later transferred to the Shaanxi History Museum, and today, it has become one of the treasures of the museum.
