On the basis of retaining the classic elements of the family, the new car incorporates a more modern minimalist aesthetic design, and the power supply is available in terms of power, two powertrains, a 4.4T twin-turbo V8 engine and a 3.0T in-line six-cylinder engine + 48V micromix system.
At the press conference, Mr. Pan Qing, Global Director of Jaguar Land Rover, President and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover China, also announced that Jaguar Land Rover and renowned Chinese contemporary artists Chen Yujun and Wu Jian'an launched a cross-border charity auction to support the public welfare activities of Jaguar Land Rover Hope Primary School in Zhaotong, Yunnan.
More than 50 years have passed since the birth of the first Range Rover production version in 1970. As the pioneer of luxury SUVs, the Range Rover family has evolved over four generations and has long since become one of Land Rover's most iconic models. Now, the fifth generation of the new Range Rover has also been officially launched.
In terms of appearance, the new generation of Range Rover is based on the latest MLA-FLEX architecture, retaining the traditional styling elements of the Range Rover while adding a lot of modern minimalist aesthetic concepts. The flat front mesh is integrated with the interactive headlights, and the simple and smart double horizontal chrome trim strips greatly widen the lateral visual impact of the car. In addition, the new car is equipped with intelligent digital LED headlights with a beam range of up to 500 meters, which combine Signature daytime running lights, dynamic turn signals, adaptive high beams and welcome lights.
The side sides of the all-new Range Rover body follow the classic suspension roof of the Range Rover, and the waistline and rounded edge design of the doors highlight the stable and elegant side lines. In the rear of the vehicle, because of the addition of minimalist elements, the rear shape of the Range Rover is closer to the styling style of the electric vehicle. The LED taillight group is hidden in the bright black decorative strip at the tail, and when the taillight is extinguished, it can be integrated with the black trim strip that runs through the "RANGE ROVER", and it has a good recognition after lighting.
In terms of interior, the new generation of Range Rover still implements the same minimalist design as the exterior in the interior design, and the straight lines are outlined with wood grain and aluminum alloy materials, showing a unique luxury temperament. The central control screen uses a 13.7-inch Pivi Pro HD curved touch screen, equipped with the latest InControl OS 2.0 infotainment system, and provides Amazon Alexa intelligent voice interaction system. In addition, the new car is equipped with a newly designed gear lever and an all-terrain feedback adaptation system.
In terms of power, the new generation of Range Rover will be equipped with a 4.4T twin-turbo V8 engine or a 3.0T inline six-cylinder engine + 48V micromix system. Among them, the P530 model is equipped with a 4.4T twin-turbo V8 engine, with a maximum power of 530 horsepower and a peak torque of 750 Nm. The P360 model equipped with a 3.0T inline six-cylinder engine + 48V micromix system has a maximum power of 360 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm; the P400 model has a maximum power of 400 hp and a peak torque of 550 Nm.
In terms of transmission system, the car is matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the drive form is four-wheel drive, and the whole series is equipped with a four-wheel steering system, an electronic air suspension system, an active rear electronic differential lock and a torque vectoring system. In addition, for the first time, the new generation of Range Rover is equipped with an advanced dynamic response system and a new 48-volt active roll control system to ensure body stability and comfort.
