At the New York Auto Show that opened today, the AMERICAN version of Kia's new Jirui was officially released. As a second-generation model, the new car is still a compact SUV with cross-border style, and provides three powertrains for consumers to choose from: oil-electric hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric.
In terms of styling, the NEW JIRUI and The Korean version of the US version are basically the same in terms of styling, the front face of the new car adopts a family-style tiger whistle grille, the through-type light strip connects the split headlights together, and the headlight group below adopts an irregular polygon design, which looks very recognizable and full of personalized colors.
In terms of interior, the new American version of Jirui adopts a dual screen design and a knob shifting system. The configuration section, including mainstream features such as mood lights, ADAS driver assistance systems, seat heating/ventilation, steering wheel heating, 360-degree panoramic views, and dual-zone automatic air conditioning, are available on new vehicles.
In the power part, the new U.S. version of The new Jirui provides three kinds of power systems for consumers to choose from: oil-electric hybrid, plug-in hybrid and pure electric. Among them, the oil-electric hybrid system is composed of a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor, and the plug-in hybrid model can travel 53 kilometers in pure electric mode, and the pure electric model is equipped with a 64.8 kWh battery pack, with a comprehensive cruising range of 407 kilometers.
