60.50-77.50 million domestic BMW X5 expensive? The larger SAIC Audi Q6 is coming.
When the domestic BMW X5 arrived, everyone was wondering whether mercedes-Benz GLE and Audi Q7 should also be domestically produced, but SAIC Audi was the first to land, and SAIC Audi Q6 has been declared. The size of this car is much larger than the Q5L, even surpassing the Q7 and the domestic BMW X5. Saic Motor Audi was established in April 2021 and currently has two Audi Q5 e-tron (395,550-510,000) and A7L (45.77-777,700) models, the Q6 is the third model of SAIC Audi.
The SAIC Audi Q6 design is inspired by the Mythical Beast of The Kirin, which represents strength, wealth and happiness. Since 2016, Audi designers have visited China several times to draw inspiration and integrate Unique Chinese elements into Audi's designs, and the Q6 is one of the masterpieces.
The SAIC Audi Q6 has a length, width and height of 5098*2014*1784mm and a wheelbase of 2980mm, positioning itself as a medium and large SUV.
The new car offers both executive and sporty styles, with the main difference being the front grille. The Executive Edition follows the Honeycomb-like shape of the Audi RS family, with vertical matrix arrangement of details in the grille; the Sport edition uses horizontal polygons with Y-shaped trims, and uses more obsidian elements on the front face, sides, tail and logo, and the black roof with exterior mirrors. A through-the-sundial light is used on the front face, and the word "quattro" is arranged in the lower part of the hexagonal grille.
Saic motor Audi Q6 uses a 3-row 7-seat space layout, and there should be 6 seats in the future to meet high-end business needs.
Saic Motor's Audi Q6 is equipped with the fourth-generation EA888 2.0T engine, which is imported from Germany and has better fuel economy than the previous generation. The high-power version has a maximum power of 265 hp and a maximum torque of 400 N·m, while the low-power version has a maximum power of 231 hp. Future new cars will also introduce a six-cylinder engine (cf. Tuon's 2.5T V6).
Although the actual size of the Q6 exceeds the Q7, consumers will still consider the Q7 and X5 to be competitors in the same class. Therefore, the key to the future sales of SAIC Audi Q6 depends on whether the pricing is more affordable than the domestic X5.
