Recently, some players said that they received a preview update for Minecraft that only Xbox Insiders can use, including ray-tracing code, which made many players think that Minecraft would launch a ray-traced version on the Xbox version. The "Minecraft" official also made a clarification yesterday (April 1) and said that there are no plans to add ray tracing for the Xbox version.

Officially, the ray-traced code in the preview is just prototype code, and it was inadvertently added to the game and has been removed. In addition, officials confirmed that the team has no plans to introduce ray tracing for console-side games in the near future.
