"We have opened the course on the digitization of cultural heritage to let everyone know why cultural heritage needs to be digitized, what problems digitalization can solve, and what digitalization can bring to our general public." Zheng Xia introduced that this course trains students from both theoretical and practical aspects around such a theme, and the "Painting Department" exhibition provides students with a space for practical research as the result of years of data accumulation.
The exhibits such as the equal proportion of high-fidelity digital 3D printing reproduction caves displayed in Hall 6 of Zhejiang Art Museum are exactly what the team of cultural heritage digitization of Zhejiang University is responsible for.
