Fan Rui , a native of Puzhou (in present-day Juancheng County) and nicknamed "Demon King of the Mixed World", ranked 61st in Liangshan, was an infantry general who used spells. After going to Liangshan, he worshipped Gongsun Sheng as a teacher, studied the Taoist Fa, and cultivated the right results.

Xiang Chong, a native of PeiXian County, Di Feixing, nicknamed the Eight-Armed Nezha, the 64th of the Good Han of Pailiang Mountain, the leader of the infantry, was killed during the conquest of Fang La.

Li Gong (李衮), a native of Pi County (present-day Pizhou, Jiangsu), nicknamed the Flying Saint of the Flying Sky, was the 65th good man of Pailiang Mountain, the leader of infantry, and was killed during the conquest of Fangla.

Fan Rui and the other three are very capable. Fan Rui can call the wind and rain, and use soldiers like gods. Xiang Chong "made a dough card, inserted twenty-four flying knives in his back, fought an iron javelin in his right hand, and took a hundred steps to take people. "Li Gun" makes a dough of cards and inserts twenty-four javelins on his back; the left hand handles the cards, and the right hand holds the sword, and can also take people in a hundred steps, and everything is hit." Shi Jin felt that he had just joined the Liangshan team, wanted to make a meritorious contribution, and led the former Shaohuashan's men and horses to fight with Fan Rui's team, but was defeated by Xiang Chong and Li Gong: "Xiao Minluo sifted up the gong, and the two good men danced the group card, went up together, and rolled straight into the battle." Shi Jin and others could not stop him, and the rear army went first. Before Shi Jin arrived at the enemy, Zhu Wu and other Chinese troops shouted and retreated thirty or forty miles. Shi Jin almost hit the flying knife; Yang Chun turned around late, was injured by a flying knife, and the war horse was injured, abandoned the horse, and fled for his life. Shi Jindian pointed out the army and folded it in half. "It can be seen that the people of Mount Qiao have indeed had two sons. However, compared with Liangshan, they are still much worse. After being defeated by Liangshan, they immediately saw through the situation, and also saw the benevolence of Song Jiang and other Liangshan generals, and willingly threw themselves into Liangshan.

All three of them first fell into the grass at Mt. Qiao and then went up to Liangshan together. When the grass fell on the mountain, the mountain headed by Fan Rui was only a family robbery, only trying to enrich itself and protect itself, and there was no political pursuit or lofty goal, and some of them were just the flow, evil spirit, and domineering spirit in the ranks of bandits. Relying on three thousand men and horses, coupled with Fan Rui's summoning wind and rain and xiang Yan and Li Gong's martial arts, they were very unconvinced by the Liangshan team, and the three of them discussed that they wanted to come and merge liangshan Po Dazhai. Their arrogance lies in the fact that they only see this piece of water at the bottom of their well, do not know that there is a sky outside the sky, and do not know that the Liangshan clique represented by Chao Gai and Song Jiang is completely different from their ideological realm and political pursuit. Therefore, they were defeated and eventually ran to Liangshan, where they were transformed into warriors for The Heavenly Path.

The people of Puzhou (Juancheng) went to Shan Prefecture to drop grass on the Mountain of Shan Prefecture, and absorbed the nearby heroes Xiang Chong and Li Gong to pull the team together, reflecting the significance that in the land of southwest Lu in the Northern Song Dynasty, in addition to Liangshan, there were other mountains. These mountains, like the shaohua mountains in other places, Taohua Mountain, Qingfeng Mountain, Erlong Mountain, Xiangying Mountain, Huangmen Mountain, and Dengyun Mountain, although they initially had the nature of bandits, but after the thousand rivers returned to the sea and gathered in Liangshan Po, they all became an important force in rebelling against Cai Jing's Gao Li clique and taking the tianxingdao. Fan Rui and the other three men and the three thousand warriors led by them joined the Liangshan contingent, indicating that many Lu Southwest Township braves joined the uprising led by Song Jiang.

Mt. Qiao has a special geographical and cultural significance. This is located in the combined part of Sulu, Yuwan, where Liu Bang, the Duke of Pei of the Late Qin Dynasty, beheaded the snake and revolted, and the "Water Margin" wrote Fan Rui and the other three people in the grass here, perhaps with a certain historical basis, a life archetype, or an intention to correspond to Liu Bang's uprising, highlighting the intention of resistance. Located at the junction of Zhongshan County in Anhui Province and Yongcheng County in Henan Province, the mountain was historically part of Yongcheng County and later incorporated into Yongcheng County. The "Water Margin" calls "Xuzhou Pei County's Qiao Shan Mountain", which is a geographical error. During the Northern Song Dynasty, Shan Shan belonged to Shan Shan County, and Shan Shan County belonged to Shan Prefecture, which at that time had jurisdiction over the four counties of Shan Shan, Chengwu, Shan Father, and Yutai. Zhongshan County belongs to Xuzhou, which was in the Ming Dynasty, and the author used the administrative jurisdiction of the Ming Dynasty to write the story of the Song Dynasty, so it was wrong.
