【Glyph evolution】

The skin, which is both the sound side and the shape side, is the omission of "slope", indicating the slowly bulging mountainous land. Waves, the gold text (the omit of "slope", denotes a slow bulge) (water), indicates that the water surface is raised like a slope under the action of the wind. The seal script basically inherits the golden glyph. The Lishu writes the seal in the glyph and the form in the seal glyph.

【The Story of the Word】

Bu Operator sent Bao Haoran to Zhejiang East

Song Wangguan

The water is the eye wave, and the mountain is the eyebrow peak gathering. Want to ask pedestrians where to go?

Eyebrows are shining. Only then did he send the spring return, and then send the king back. If you go to Jiangnan to catch the spring, don't live with the spring.

Translation: Water is like the flowing eye waves of a beauty, and the mountain is like a beauty's furrowed eyebrows. Want to ask pedestrians where to go? To the place where the mountains meet. Just sent away the spring, and I want to send you back again. If you go to Gangnam and you can catch up with the spring, you must keep the spring scenery.

Interpretation: In late spring, the writer bid farewell to his friend Bao Haoran, who was about to return to his hometown (eastern Zhejiang), at the Governor's Mansion in Yuezhou. Although his home is in Rugao, he can't return, and the sorrow of the detention trip is difficult to bear, but he still sincerely wishes his friends and hopes that his friends can live with Chunguang.

This poem is a metaphor for water with an eye, a mountain with an eyebrow, a clever metaphor, a fun, and a pun, and it is written in a funny way, which is unique in the farewell words. It vividly expresses the mood of the lyricist when he bid farewell to his friend Bao Haoran.
