2. The most common manifestations

Lower urinary tract symptoms

Lower urinary tract symptoms are the most common manifestations of prostatitis, such as urinary frequency, urgency, dysuria, incomplete urination, burning sensation of the urethra, and weakness in urination.

Patients may suddenly have an irrepressible feeling of urination, as well as increased frequency of urination, pain during urination, and feeling that there is still a sense of urination after urination; urethral burning fever refers to a burning sensation in the urethra, like ants crawling; and urinary weakness is often manifested as waiting for a period of time before urinating and not being able to discharge in time.

Other manifestations

Genital pain. When not urinating, there is also pain in the urethra or head of the penis.

Radiation pain. Sometimes the pain is not limited to the urethra and perineum, but also radiates to the vicinity, and the following low back pain is most common, and can also radiate to the penis, testicles, etc., and occasionally to the abdomen [2]. Radiation pain is generally manifested as tingling, vague pain, etc.

Discomfort near the perineum. Discomfort with swelling in the urethra, perineum, and anus is exacerbated when used as a squat action, defecating, or sitting on a stool for a long time.

Sexual dysfunction. Some patients will experience decreased libido, ejaculatory pain, and premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is also premature ejaculation. Sometimes after urination or during stool, there can also be "whitening" of the urethral orifice, that is, milky white discharge from the urethral orifice. Blood sperm, i.e., reddening of semen, may also occur, which may be accompanied by vesiculitis.

Flu-like manifestations. Sometimes there is chills and fever, body temperature 37.5 ° C ~ 38.5 ° C, but generally not more than 39 ° C; there may be headache, dizziness or dizziness, general malaise, fatigue and weakness; limb muscles or joint pain; no cold, but nasal congestion, runny nose, dry throat, facial flushing symptoms.

Neurasthenia. Presents with fatigue, dizziness, insomnia, etc.

Conjunctival congestion and edema, joint pain and swelling. This may be a long-term prostate inflammation caused by the body's allergic reactions and the occurrence of conjunctivitis, arthritis and so on. Allergic reaction refers to the body's immune system is too sensitive to some substances that are harmless to the body, producing a strong immune response and causing harm to the body.

3. Medical examination to find out which abnormalities

· Suprapubic tenderness. During the examination, the doctor found tenderness and discomfort in the position below the waist near the buttocks (lumbosacral part) and above the base of the penis (above the pubic bone). When accompanied by urinary retention, the bulging bladder on the pubic bone can even be touched.

· Morphological structural abnormalities of the prostate gland. During the digital prostate examination, after disinfection, the prostate is palpated by reaching into the rectum through the anus with the hand, which can roughly understand whether the size and texture of the prostate have changed. In patients with prostate inflammation, the digital examination may reveal that the prostate gland is full and enlarged, the texture is soft, or it becomes smaller and harder, the texture is uneven, and there are small indurations or mild tenderness.

· Ultrasound reports show that the boundaries of prostate tissue structure are unclear and disordered.

When the above conditions occur, it is not necessary to have prostatitis, but it is recommended to seek a doctor in time to determine whether you have prostatitis or other diseases.
