It is reported that the first version of the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ sold out in the US market in 10 minutes, and will begin to accept orders for ordinary models on May 19 this year.
According to cadillac's official website, LYRIQ's three-dimensional 5003mm x 1978mm x 1635mm, wheelbase of 3094mm, is a medium and large size SUV, and said that LYRIQ interprets its brand's "art and technology" design philosophy, bringing consumers a futuristic new sensory experience.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a large front grille design, with dual-banner LED daytime running lights with longitudinal layout on both sides, and the overall front surround design is very sporty. The new waistline runs through the body on the side of the body, and the D-pillar design is also very futuristic, and the overall collocation looks heavier. In the rear part, the through-led tail light group of the new car is well integrated with the rear window, and the overall design has a strong recognition.
In the interior, the new car is equipped with a 33-inch curved OLED screen that can make up to three screens, the screen can display 1 billion colors and the resolution is 8960× 1320 pixels, reaching the 9K level.
As the pioneering work of Cadillac's road to electrification, LYRIQ is equipped with a 100.4kWh battery pack, which will be driven by a rear axle motor, with a maximum power of 250kW and a peak torque of 440N·m, with a range of more than 650 km under CLTC conditions, and the follow-up Cadillac LYRIQ will also launch a four-wheel drive version with a 100 km acceleration of less than 4.9 s, and the new car can last 96 km in 10 minutes.
Cadillac LYRIQ is cadillac's first all-new all-electric SUV launched in China and the first model born under GM's Ultium Autonyn's pure electric platform. At present, Cadillac LYRIQ is still in the pre-sale stage in China, and the results are also very gratifying, with orders exceeding 5,000 units 30 days after the pre-sale was released during the Guangzhou Auto Show last year. The pre-sale model is the rear-drive long-endurance deluxe version, and the pre-sale price is 439,700 yuan.
