GM initially said it wouldn't start production until the end of 2022, and the early start of production means that GM wants to seize the emerging segment of pure electric SUVs as soon as possible.

Mark Reuss, president of General Motors, said that whether in terms of product design or engineering, LYRIQ will lead Cadillac back to the ranks of first-class luxury cars and re-recognize American luxury brands.

Unlike first-line luxury brands such as BBA to test the electric market through "oil to electricity" products, Cadillac's first electric vehicle is based on the general pure electric platform, and the new car adopts a very sci-fi design language in appearance, which also hints at the design direction of electrified new cars under the brand.

In terms of interior, the 33-inch ring curtain super retina screen is the biggest highlight of the car, and it also has a huge dome of 1.83 square meters.

In terms of intelligent configuration, Cadillac LYRIQ will use the new Super Cruise Super Assisted Driving System.

In terms of power, the maximum power of the new car motor is 255KW (347Ps), the maximum torque reaches 440N·m, it has a battery capacity of 95.7KWh, and the cruising range is 650 kilometers. In the case of fast charging, it takes about 40 minutes to reach 80% of the power.
