At present, the number of 5G base stations in the mainland has reached 1.425 million, and the number of 5G access users has exceeded 500 million, it can be said that China's 5G construction is gradually maturing, of course, it will take a while to reach the point of pure fire.
Different from the 3G and 4G era, 5G is a turning point and important node from the era of mobile Internet to the era of The Internet of Things, the arrival of the 5G era will lead us to truly enter the era of the Internet of Everything, and in the next development, the Internet of Things Plenary Will become a necessary means of communication for people's lives. Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, in order to get one more order, these three telecom giants have launched a fierce competition around the world.
Whether it is from the perspective of equipment quality, technical patents, cost performance, construction cycle, etc., Huawei can easily win and can easily win the favor of many operators at home and abroad. After all, higher profits and lower user complaints, which all operators will not reject, which also makes Huawei's order volume in the early stage of 5G in a far leading position.
However, in order to suppress Huawei's 5G construction, the United States not only rejected Huawei's 5G equipment with other countries, but even pulled it into the "entity list", which affected the development of Huawei's 5G to a certain extent. But even so, Huawei is still struggling to move forward, more and more frustrated. At present, the number of global 5G orders has been renewed again: Nokia 70, Ericsson 91. So, how many 5G orders does Huawei have?
From the perspective of the number of 5G orders in this update, Ericsson and Huawei have successively refreshed the number of 5G orders: First, Ericsson's 5G orders have increased from the original 86 to 91, and it has also signed commercial 5G contracts with 45 operator customers that can be advertised. In addition, it involves 18 countries and regions, and the scope is very extensive.
There are now 32 5G commercial equipment in operation, which is enough to see that Ericsson's development is very strong. In addition, Ericsson is still maintaining this cooperation with China Mobile, and Ericsson and China Mobile will reach a cooperation on the procurement of 5G equipment.
As the world's second largest supplier of communication equipment, Nokia in the performance of this 5G order, although there is still a big gap between Huawei and Ericsson, but Nokia has signed 5G commercial orders as high as 70, not only that, Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri announced in the first earnings call that Nokia is about to establish a partnership with China Unicom, the future will cover the supply of Nokia's core network.
Although Nokia failed to win the bid for the 76 billion 5G network base stations launched by the three major operators, it is still very optimistic and not discouraged. It is in this way that Nokia can always maintain a good cooperative relationship with China Unicom.
After understanding the number of 5G orders from Ericsson and Nokia, let's take a look at Huawei's achievements in 5G orders. Based on the continuous pressure from the United States, Huawei will not frequently update the number of 5G commercial contracts. The latest update was on the data of 91 5G commercial contracts in February, but according to Huawei President Ding Yun, Huawei's current total 5G commercial contracts have far exceeded 91, ushering in a new breakthrough.
Although huawei's commercial contract quantity is not in the number, Huawei's 5G equipment shipments have always been the world's first. In fact, in the field of telecommunications, the shipment of equipment is a fundamental factor in determining the status of the industry. Huawei's 5G equipment is the first telecommunications company to successfully pass the 5G SCAC test, although many countries now cancel cooperation with Huawei, but the heart has always had a high evaluation of Huawei, but there is no way to suppress it.
But there are still some countries willing to give Huawei a green light, just like Germany, improve the security level of overseas telecommunications companies, indirectly give Huawei a green light, Italy also raised the security detection threshold for Huawei, but also allow operators to use Huawei equipment conditionally. Because as we all know, only the 5G equipment provided by Huawei is the most advanced and the most substantial.
However, Huawei can still launch Huawei's Hongmeng OS system in the midst of difficulties, which also shows Huawei's attitude and confidence in breaking through the current predicament and hopeless situation to a certain extent.
I believe that as long as enough time is given for development, Huawei will grow rapidly. Many communication equipment manufacturers around the world have achieved sustainable development in the field of 5G. These communication equipment manufacturers in the 5G era has not yet fully arrived, if you can further expand their business scale, then now is the best time for development.
Although Ericsson's current 5G orders are the same as Huawei's, and some people even worry that Huawei will one day be surpassed by Ericsson, Huawei has been constantly moving forward. Not only in 5G communications, Huawei has begun to develop 6G communication technology, trying to directly develop 6G networks after the application of 5G networks, becoming the first company in the world to launch 6G networks.
