In the fiscal second quarter of fiscal 2022, Microsoft achieved operating income of $51.7 billion, an increase of 20% year-on-year; and net profit of $18.8 billion, an increase of 21% year-on-year, which exceeded market expectations overall.

Looking at the competitive landscape, in the global cloud infrastructure service provider market, Amazon AWS ranked first in the third quarter of 2021 with a market share of 32%, Microsoft Azure ranked second with a market share of 21%, followed by Google Cloud with a share of 8%.

However, it is worth noting that the revenue of Azure and other cloud services increased by 46% year-on-year, which did not meet market expectations, and to some extent, Azure may face the pressure of revenue slowdown.
