I am very happy to have this opportunity to exchange some views on the metaverse with you, and today I will mainly report to you about some of the possible scenarios of the metaverse in the next decade.
What is the metacosm?
Regarding what the metaverse is, in fact, there is more discussion in this regard, and I am simply divided into two categories here, one is the generalized metacosm, and the other is the narrow metacosm.
The narrow metacosm is a parallel world corresponding to the real world, the virtual world; I prefer to understand the metacosm as a generalized metaverse, which has the improvement of the sense of experience, which can bring people the corresponding empowerment of some traditional industries, which is equivalent to a tool for productivity, because to build a complete parallel system, I think the establishment of the metaverse is very difficult in the short term, but if it is to do an improvement in the effect of a productivity tool, this may have a very obvious change.
I have three major prophecies about the shape of the future metacosm. Why metaversic?
We can see that the entire proto-universe can also be called the third generation of the Internet, and it is not difficult to find that if anyone can solve the problem of the current Internet, then who is actually qualified to call it a metacosm.
The entire PC era has been developed for more than 30 years, the mobile Internet has also developed for nearly 20 years, and the development speed of the mobile Internet is based on the premise of pc, the speed of its development must be accelerated, so the current development of the mobile Internet is actually facing a certain growth bottleneck, such as the gradual disappearance of the traffic I mentioned here, the gradual singleness of content, people will still feel that there is a relatively large distance between things and things.
In addition, there are some factors at the policy level, we see that both domestic and foreign Internet giants are doing some disorderly expansion, and it is obvious that the user payment penetration rate of giants including BAT is more than 80%, which is actually very high, and each of us can also see that the proportion of mobile phone Internet access has reached 99.6%.

In fact, we look at the growth of large Internet companies in the past few years, and ushered in a certain bottleneck, especially the social giant Facebook, why facebook is the most active in the direction of the meta-universe? Because the growth of his new user number, including the retention of the number of surviving users, has ushered in a corresponding bottleneck, so they themselves encounter anti-monopoly background, must seek innovation. So we see that recently we saw that Facebook is talking about virtual currency again, and it still wants to build this complete economic system.
Domestic we see that after the rapid growth of the past few years, including Ali, Tencent gradually began to go to the cloud to B business, that is, to C to do to B, to B we see that they have a feature of doing a lot of cloud server infrastructure construction, here and the operator's business has formed a certain conflict, this thing is actually the best for the operator to undertake, and then handed over to the equipment vendor to execute, which is the most ideal state.
We have seen that in the past few years, these companies have been doing this, which has also inhibited the innovation of technology companies to a certain extent, and also reflects that these domestic Internet manufacturers have also ushered in a growth bottleneck on the consumer side.
In addition, I will talk about the acquisition of Blizzard by Microsoft, in fact, it is worth thinking about, when Microsoft acquired Blizzard, we also communicated with many domestic departments accordingly, and everyone will feel that a company that does an office platform has only begun to gradually do games in the past few years, does that mean that the positioning of the game will change, that is, it is no longer an entertainment time-consuming thing, and its ultimate goal is to establish a virtual world?
I think this question is worth thinking about, including the world of Warcraft a few years ago, you found that there is a relatively complete economic system built in it, so I think this is the earliest prototype of the metaverse.

We look at NetEase and other Internet companies have a big difference is that other Internet companies are basically which jobs in the market I do, such as group buying, network disks, etc. These businesses, as long as they are overseas benchmarks, we do it in China.
