IT Home March 15 news, Apple today to Mac computer users pushed macOS 12.3 official version update (build number: 21E230), this update from the last official version of more than a month.
The macOS Monterey 12.3 release update can be downloaded in System Preferences > Software Update. Apple also released macOS Big Sur 11.6.5 for users who didn't upgrade to macOS Monterey.
macOS Monterey 12.3 introduces several new features, the biggest of which is universal control. The feature is currently only available in beta, but it is already working properly. It is designed to use a single mouse/trackpad and keyboard for multiple Macs and iPads (iPads running iPadOS 15.4).
IT Home understands that after users update their devices to macOS 12.3 and iPadOS 15.4, universal controls will automatically work, allowing the Mac's cursor and keyboard to work on the iPad and vice versa.
In addition, macOS Monterey 12.3 official version adds 37 new emoji emojis, and M1 Mac series devices also support AirPods' dynamic head tracking in spatial audio apps.
