Toyota released its first mass-produced pure electric vehicle overseas last year, the "bZ4X", with a maximum range of about 500 kilometers, and is expected to be launched in the United States in 2022. Toyota plans to launch seven pure electric vehicles in the "TOYOTA bZ" series by 2025, the first of which will be produced in Japan and China.
There are three versions in the declaration list, mainly because the engine and vehicle quality are different. With reference to the declaration, the car measures 4690/1860/1650mm and has a wheelbase of 2850mm, positioning itself as a compact SUV. Depending on the model configuration, 235/60 R18, 235/50 R20 tires will be available.
In terms of power, the front-drive version will be equipped with a maximum power of 150kW motor, the four-wheel drive version of the front and rear dual motors are 80kW, equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack, this version of the overseas version of the model has a range of nearly 500km under WLTC conditions, DC fast charging mode supports 150kW power, 30 minutes can be fully charged to 80%.
The Toyota bZ4X is a sport utility vehicle (SUV) with a total length of approximately 4.7 meters and a width of approximately 1.9 meters. The ev-specific chassis, developed jointly with Subaru, ensures a spacious interior such as the footage. The range of the front-drive version of a single charge is about 500 km.
As Toyota's first new architecture electric model, BZ4X is also more radical in appearance design, completely abandoning the "family design language" of Toyota fuel vehicles, and the shadow of Toyota oil vehicles cannot be seen on the appearance.
Toyota said its internal tests based on Japanese regulatory norms determined that the car would have an endurance of 310 miles (about 500 kilometers) on a single charge. The price has not yet been announced, but the Toyota bZ4X is expected to compete with electric SUVs such as the Tesla Model Y and chevrolet Bolt utility vehicle.
IT House has learned that the Toyota bZ4X will be equipped with an optional rooftop solar panel system that will generate enough electricity to drive the car more than 1,100 miles (about 1,770.28 kilometers) per year.
Toyota already sells some electric cars, such as the plug-in Prius Prime, which runs on batteries before gasoline starts. But the Toyota bZ4X was Toyota's first all-electric car, meaning it didn't use gasoline.
