Last year, The Faw-Hongqi E-QM5 entered the high-end online ride-hailing market, focusing on a 4-seat layout, so the private version of the model launched this time will be changed to a more practical five-seat version.
The official launch of the retail version of the Hongqi E-QM5 means that Hongqi has filled its gap in the pure electric car market. It is reported that the length, width and height of the Hongqi E-QM5 reached 5040mm/1910mm/1569mm, the wheelbase was 2990mm, the exaggerated three circumferences were larger than the same level of their own "brother" Hongqi H5, and the starting price of 122,800 was also cheaper than the Hongqi H5.
In terms of body design, although the new car continues the design elements of the Faw-hongqi family, the real car looks essentially different from the traditional fuel vehicle of the faw-hongqi. Hongqi E-QM5 front face design is also the most controversial part of the car, although the front face of the new car uses a family-style straight waterfall type middle net, but it looks more abstract, as the finishing touch of the car, Hongqi exclusive LOGO is still standing on the hood. However, I personally feel that the front face design of the car does not have the temperament of Hongqi H5, nor does it have the calmness of Hongqi H9, and the route taken is diametrically opposite to the current Hongqi models on sale.

The interior adopts a minimalist style, entering the car seems to look at the physical buttons, the central control screen adopts a 10.1-inch suspension design, the air conditioner outlet is below the screen, and the suspension central control design that lacks the physical buttons always feels a little awkward, or perhaps because the central control design of the Red Flag H5 is more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. However, the 5-meter-long car, the price of more than 100,000 yuan, is still an independent luxury brand, and it seems that the problems mentioned above are not a problem.
In terms of power, Hongqi E-QM5 provides two versions of the charging version and the replacement version, the maximum power of the motor equipped with it is 136 horsepower, and the maximum speed is 130km/h, of which the charging version of the model uses a lithium iron phosphate battery cell rechargeable battery, the battery capacity is 54kWh, and its NEDC working condition has a battery life of 431km; and the ternary lithium battery used in the replacement version has a battery capacity of 56kWh, and its NEDC working conditions also have a battery life of 431km.
