IT House March 8 news, Firefox browser Firefox is one of the few web browsers that use a non-Chromium rendering engine, today, Firefox 98 version is officially released.
Aimed at desktop and mobile platforms, firefox 98 comes with a series of design improvements. First, iOS and Firefox 98 for Android support new tab custom backgrounds, which were previously supported on the desktop version.
Second, Firefox 98 for iOS supports moving the search bar to the top or bottom of the display, a feature that had previously appeared on android. Move to the bottom for easy user clicking, and Apple Safari also supports this feature.
In addition, the desktop version of Firefox 98 has changed the way downloads are handled - pop-up prompts are no longer displayed by default, but will be downloaded automatically, just like Chrome and most other web browsers. Downloaded files can also be deleted from the download panel by right-clicking / context menu.
Finally, the Firefox Focus browser for Android will soon have an HTTPS-only mode that prevents non-HTTPS-based websites or resources from loading.
