When it comes to the zero-run car created by Zhu Jiangming, it has indeed made a little noise in the past two years. However, compared with "Wei Xiaoli" and Nezha Automobile's "strength" in the new energy vehicle market, the sales of zero-run cars are far less than the previous four runners.
In the past February, zero-running cars only delivered 3435 new cars, and looking back at the past 2021, the three models of the zero-run car series only contributed to the sales data of 43121 new cars. So it is clear that today's zero-run cars are still a very small new energy vehicle company in terms of volume.
In addition, many people may not know that Zhu Jiangming announced a series of measures for zero-run cars in the next few as early as 2021 at a zero-run 2.0 strategy conference. The specifics can be summarized as "surpassing Tesla in 3 years", "launching 8 new cars in 4 years", and "selling 800,000 vehicles in 2025".
Seeing this strategic plan formulated by Zhu Jiangming for zero-running cars, I don't know how everyone feels in their hearts. But starting from the thinking of our media people, I think this goal is a bit too radical, and even a little "PPT car" suspicion.

After all, judging by the cumulative delivery of zero-run cars in 2021, only more than 40,000 new cars have been sold. Following this trend, even if there is a "benign increase" in sales every year, we believe it will be difficult to achieve the sales target of 800,000 vehicles by 2025. Therefore, does this also prove that Zhu Jiangming is "drawing a big pie" for the outside world?
Of course, to say that the zero-run car created by Zhu Jiangming is to "draw a cake" for users, but it cannot be so absolute. After all, on April 30, 2021, Zero-Run Automobile obtained the production qualification of new energy vehicles, and the origin of this production qualification is because Zero-run Automobile successfully acquired Fujian Xinfuda, which has laid the foundation for its car-making qualification.
In addition, although 2020 is the "epidemic year", zero-run cars still won the favor of the capital market in 2020, and the B round of financing reached 4.3 billion yuan, and over-raised 1.3 billion. Therefore, combined with these points of view, the road to zero-run cars does not seem to be so absurd, but gradually on the "right track".
Finally, Zhu Jiangming also set three dimensions for the goal of zero-run cars, namely technology strategy, product strategy and user strategy. After all, Zhu Jiangming himself is a technical background, and he is also convinced that "only the core technology can be developed in a global way to create a car with a soul", so the rest is to see how to put it into action.
According to Zhu Jiangming's plan, zero-run cars plan to expand the autonomous driving algorithm team to 100+ people, put into production of lidar solutions by the end of 2023, and realize full-scenario autonomous driving technology in 2024. In addition, zero-run vehicles have also planned an 800V ultra-high voltage electrical platform, which is scheduled to be mass-produced in the fourth quarter of 2024 and support a super fast charging capacity of 400kW. As for whether the research results of these projects can really be implemented, no one is currently clear.
In terms of product planning, in addition to the existing three models, Zero-Run Will also launch the C11 four-wheel drive performance version and the extended range version, the T03 redesign/export version, and the C01 pure electric car in 2022. In 2023, the C12 pure electric version and the new A11 compact SUV will be launched. In 2024, the C02 sedan, C13 extended range version and pure electric version, and C21 extended range version MPV models will be launched. From the perspective of the overall product rhythm, if these new models can really land, it is still very likely that Zhu Jiangming's goal of cumulative sales of 800,000 vehicles by 2025 will be achieved.
In general, we can not completely deny that the 2.0 strategy formulated by Zhu Jiangming for zero-run cars is wrong, but what we also want to suggest is that the zero-run car plan is to achieve a comprehensive catch-up with the first echelon of new energy vehicle companies through the self-research of core technologies, which is undoubtedly very difficult.
You know, at present, there are only 2 models of zero-run cars on sale, one zero-run T03 is mainly an entry-level micro-electric vehicle, and the other is a zero-run C11 model that has not been on the market for a long time and the sales are mediocre. Judging from the price of these two models, in fact, compared with the models of Weilai, the price is far from the same, and zero running has not achieved very effective achievements in the field of automatic driving, and the response of the owner's reputation is also flat. Therefore, whether the zero-run car can survive for a long time, we estimate that we will have to put a big question mark.
As for Zhu Jiangming's goal of "surpassing Tesla within three years", I think there is also some too subjective personal heroism. You know, Tesla can have today, can become the world's first market value of the car company, relying on its strong research and development strength in the field of software, and zero running although it has raised a little capital, but after all, it is not backed by silicon valley such a world-famous high-tech industrial park, so in the "geographical advantage" of this point, zero running is not dominant. Therefore, if Zero Run wants to surpass Tesla within 3 years, it is natural that it will inevitably suffer from a lot of doubts from the outside world.
Finally, is there a future for zero-run cars? In the short term, I think the future of zero running is very slim, after all, sales are there, and the outside world does not know much about the brand. However, from a long-term point of view, if zero-run can really focus on the core technology self-research, and eventually implemented into the project results, then I believe that the market share of zero-running cars will increase.
In short, the domestic new energy vehicle market does need to have a "hundred flowers blooming" atmosphere, after all, the current new energy vehicles are a new thing, many consumers are still difficult to accept this change for a while and a half.
