BYD recently released the latest sales data: passenger car sales in February 90,268 units, an increase of 336.2% year-on-year, down 5.2% month-on-month; new energy passenger car sales of 87,473 units, an increase of 764.1% year-on-year, down 5.9% month-on-month, of which Song EV continued to sell hot, up 5866.1% year-on-year. According to this growth rate, BYD Chairman Wang Chuanfu set the 2022 development goal: serving 3 million new energy vehicle users, just around the corner.
At present, BYD's new energy passenger car sales have increased from 48.9% in the same period last year to 96.9%. Specifically, the Han family sold 9,290 vehicles per month, of which Han EV increased by 118.1% year-on-year; the Tang family sold 10,426 vehicles per month, of which the new Tang DM-i increased by 1143.9% year-on-year; the Song family sold 24,534 vehicles per month; the Qin family sold 24,503 vehicles per month, of which Qin PLUS EV increased by 16.6% month-on-month; the Yuan family sold 8,953 units per month, an increase of 2380%; and the first model of the e-platform 3.0 Dolphin sold 8,565 units per month.
