Yesterday, Musk confirmed on Twitter that a new "push center" horn has been included in cars produced since November, and according to Musk, the horn activation function will come from a firmware update.
However, although the updated information was released, Musk did not give a timetable for when it will be released, considering that the yoke steering wheel with the new label was first discovered in January, so the owner may not wait too long.
However, this is the first sign that Tesla is willing to make changes to the design of the yoke steering wheel, which caused a lot of controversy when it was first released last year, not only because of its unusual shape, but also because it does not have a traditional horn and other experiential functions, Tesla only added these functions as buttons to the left and right sides of the steering wheel, so the discussion about the yoke steering wheel has not stopped.
