The Canadian Association of Automotive Journalists AJAC has presented the 2022 Canadian Car of the Year Awards. The best car was won by the Honda Civic Civic, while the Hyundai Tucson Tucson was awarded best utility vehicle.
Among the best cars, Civic made the finals along with the Genesis G70 and Mazda MX-5, while Tucson won over the Genesis GV70 and Toyota Corolla Cross Corolla Cross. In the past, the Annual Cwind Car of canada was announced at the Canadian International Motor Show in February, but when this year's auto show was cancelled due to the restrictions of the epidemic, the annual Cyun Car awards were held online.

AJAC explained that the vote for Canada's annual Storm Car was cast by members of AJAC's car line media. There are over 250 models to choose from this year, but each car must be tested and voted on by a certain number of members by December 2021 to be selected.
