For more than 60 years, Xie Yaoting has been rooted in Qiongdao Island, continuously cultivated his pen, gone deep into grass-roots townships and towns, and created a large number of realistic paintings based on the history of Hainan and the life of the times. "Auspicious Day" is a recent work by Chinese painter Chen Xinhua. As a generation that began to explore Chinese painting in the "85 Art Thought Trend", the fusion and collision of Eastern and Western art has had a clear impact on Chen Xinhua's works. Adhering to the spirit of transforming Chinese painting and creating new visual styles in the Lingnan painting scene, Chen Xinhua draws on the visual factors of traditional Chinese folk tastes such as paper-cutting, ceramic sculpture, and color printmaking in his works, and combines and experiments with Western modernist arts such as Impressionism, Fauvism and Vienna Secession.
