"Guoxue" is the abbreviation of Chinese scholarship, "master" refers to the honorific title of people who have deep attainments in learning or art, and "guoxue master" refers to the outstanding person whose knowledge is outstanding within the scope of "guoxue" research. At the same time, the "master of traditional Chinese studies" cannot only look at his learning, but also look at his morality, that is, his character and literary qualities, whether his literary character and his character are unified, that is, whether they belong to the stream of "moral articles" that integrate human character and literary products. In modern times, Zhang Taiyan, Liang Qichao, Wang Guowei, and Hu Shi are recognized as masters of traditional Chinese studies, and good at books is their basic skill, but the title of the book must be covered up by scholarship. His calligraphic concept of taking the Northern Tablet was deeply influenced by Kang Youwei. Liang Qichao's calligraphy belongs to the scholar type, but it is not the same as some scholar-type calligraphers who are known for their grass. His achievements in literature, history, and philosophy are too high, and Liang Qichao has a fairly high attainment in the North Monument and a very high achievement in the creation of Lishu.

Hu Shi calligraphy is a typical scholar's calligraphy, scholars' calligraphy is characterized by elegance, subtlety, timelessness, fluency, no carving, artificiality, impetuousness and jianghu qi, scholar calligraphy rarely pays attention to the simple tempering of lines, but pays more attention to the inner charm and overall expressiveness.
