China Fortune News On February 22, SAIC Volkswagen officially announced that the flagship MPV model New Weiran officially launched pre-sale, with a pre-sale deposit of 1,000 yuan. The new car will be officially launched on March 13.
In addition, SAIC Volkswagen also provided a quadruple benefit package for the first 3,000 users who ordered on the e-commerce platform from February 22 to the day of listing and traded before April 30 (inclusive), including: free basic maintenance for life (twice a year), lifetime warranty for important components (engine, gearbox, chassis drivetrain), lifelong maintenance of door-to-door delivery vehicles (twice a year, within 20 kilometers per way), and lifelong free road assistance (unlimited times, up to 100 kilometers).
As a redesign of Weiran, the new Weiran has carried out many upgrades in terms of body details, interior and technology configuration while continuing weiran's design style and body size.
The center console of the new Weiran has been changed from the old embedded screen to a new floating screen. The 9.2-inch central control screen and LCD instrument panel further enhance the sense of technology in the car. The three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and paddle electronic gear lever are also the key upgrades of the new car.
In terms of power, the new Weiran series is equipped with a 2.0T engine and is available in low power (330TSI) and high power (380TSI) versions, with a maximum power of 137kW and 162kW and a maximum torque of 320N·m and 350N·m, respectively. Mated to the 2.0T engine is a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission.
As the first high-end MPV of the SAIC Volkswagen brand, Weiran has laid a good foundation in the market with its positioning of "Ashkenazi high-end business".
