On February 22, the first "Earth Critical Point" environmental protection public welfare contemporary art exhibition was officially opened in IFC "M Space" in Guangzhou. According to reports, the "Earth Critical Point" plan is a cross-border alliance-style public welfare innovation practice, initiated by Wu Liheng, an advocate and practitioner of the concept of "life is public welfare", aiming to take youth development as the foothold and starting point, take environmental protection as the core topic, integrate corporate social responsibility and other related resources, carry out public advocacy in the form of art exhibitions, and strive to trigger the attention, thinking and action of young people and even the public on the "low-carbon", "environmental protection" and "sustainable" lifestyle through cutting-edge and cutting-edge touchpoints.

It is reported that since the art exhibition officially launched the collection of works on December 20, 2021, it has triggered a warm response beyond expectations, and received nearly 300 works of art from more than 240 young artists at home and abroad. Yang Cheng, the curator of this exhibition and a pioneering young artist after 95, told reporters, "Today's young people are sometimes misunderstood by the public as indifferent to the topic of the public environment. When I have in-depth exchanges with many young artists, I find that in the process of self-exploration, it is actually full of opportunities to pay attention to and connect with public environmental topics through individual experience and practice. "Behind the theme of 'environmental protection', there is actually a multi-dimensional and abundant creative space related to the changes in the current situation of the earth, the diversity of ecology, and human behavior." The artists participating in this exhibition are embracing full freedom to express and interpret, they reflect on industrial mass production and observe excessive consumption through artistic creation; perceive nature and energy from the perspective of animals and plants; and explore desire and freedom, war and faith from the perspective of individual human beings.
