The word "history" seems grand, but to explore it, it is nothing more than to find roots in the tangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage around us. History is there, culture is there, we have roots, and the pace towards the road ahead is more confident. On February 21, Shenyang Evening News and Shenyang Daily all-media reporters learned from the Shenyang Municipal Real Estate Bureau that this year Shenyang will increase the intensity of repair and protection of historical buildings, using methods such as owner-funded and district government repairs, and plans to carry out protective repairs to 13 historical buildings such as the East Trade Library, the former site of Tongren Hospital, and the old site of the health department of Manchuria Medical University.

Conservation repairs are planned for 13 historic buildings this year

It is understood that at present, Shenyang has announced 236 historical buildings, and 19 historical buildings have been repaired during the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" period, and this year will conduct a comprehensive survey of the damage to the remaining historical buildings. In order to continue the historical context and enhance the cultural connotation of the city, this year Shenyang will increase the intensity of repair and protection of historical buildings, and plan to carry out protective repairs to 13 historical buildings such as the East Trade Library, the former site of Tongren Hospital, and the former site of the health department of Manchuria Medical University by means of ownership by the owner and the repair of the district government.

Last year, the Shenyang Municipal Real Estate Bureau issued the "Shenyang Historical Building Repair Management Measures", which clarified the principles, responsibilities, classifications, procedures, requirements and other contents of the repair of historical buildings, and standardized the repair and protection of historical buildings. According to reports, this year's Shenyang historical building repair will be in line with the "quality, quality" work idea, strengthen the sense of responsibility for project management, strictly review the design plan, focus on process control and supervision, restore the historical style of the building to the greatest extent, and meet the needs of modern life, so that people can remember the history, remember the nostalgia, strengthen cultural self-confidence, and enhance the feelings of home and country.

Teach you how to distinguish between historical buildings and heritage buildings

We often find that some of the old buildings around us have set up protection signs such as "historical buildings", "national key cultural relics protection units", "provincial cultural protection units", etc., but perhaps you do not know much about the differences.

It is understood that there is a big difference between historical buildings and cultural relics buildings. First of all, the two definitions are different. Historical buildings refer to buildings and structures that have certain protection value, can reflect historical features and local characteristics, and have not been announced as cultural relics protection units or registered as immovable cultural relics after being determined and announced by the people's governments of cities and counties. Cultural relics buildings are commonly called, and the corresponding to the provisions of the law are immovable cultural relics. According to the Law on the Protection of Cultural Relics, immovable cultural relics include ancient cultural sites, ancient tombs, ancient buildings, cave temples, stone carvings, murals, important historical sites and representative buildings in modern and modern times. According to their historical, artistic and scientific value, they can be divided into national key cultural relics protection units, provincial-level cultural relics protection units, city (county) level cultural relics protection units, and immovable cultural relics that have not yet been approved and announced as cultural relics protection units.

Secondly, the competent authorities of the two are also different, and the applicable laws and regulations are also different. Cultural relics buildings are mainly applicable to the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics, the Regulations on the Implementation of the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Cultural Relics, etc., and the Regulations on the Protection of Famous Towns and Villages in Famous Historical and Cultural Cities are mainly applicable to historical buildings.
