Ding Hong, slash life, science and engineering woman, chemical engineering major, clean and fast, quick thinking, strong learning ability, do not do useless work. What you say she has the most professional theory waiting for you, once talking about yoga, she said that the most important yoga teacher in the world is in India, and the best yoga teacher in India is called Bao Hexin, I thought she only knew this knowledge, but no, Ding Hong first understood the history of yoga and did a good road map, personally went to India to learn yoga, which surprised me about her life methodology, in the days to come, every time I saw her, I listened to her talk about calligraphy, talked about speeches, talked about painting, talked about France, talked about red wine, When it comes to contemporary art, it is always talkative, theory comes first and practice follows closely behind, and the energy is exuberant. In this sunny spring, the exhibition held by Ding Hong is a small part of her slash life, and I have seen many people's depictions of slash life, the brushstrokes are beautiful, and the emotions are romantic. In fact, slash life is also very serious. As Ding Hong himself said: My characteristics may be to love to learn art history and art theory, but the practice is too little, painting for three years has just started, found that painting is the most difficult thing I have experienced in my life, no two, this is a profession that I may not be able to really learn in my life, because of this, this is also my fun, the most attractive. Since I fell in love with painting, I have never felt lonely and bored, with too much to learn, and my heart is calm and fulfilled. This state I envy, it is really a full life. The works in this exhibition, as if they cannot be evaluated in the terminology of painting, will have limitations, and I feel that Ding Hong's valuable thoughts and thinking about life, each painting is so bright and vivid and full of spirit, the important thing is that she finds it interesting.

Artistic creation is a cultural act, and culture is inseparable from inheritance. As far as sketching is concerned, it is not only a skill, but also a manifestation of thought and will.
Artistic creation requires two basic qualities, the first is rational thinking, that is, the understanding of the laws of art; and the second is perceptual cognition, that is, keen insight or talent. Of course, if you want to achieve something, what is more indispensable is perseverance.
Ms. Ding Hong is a successful person in the business world, confident and intelligent. But occasionally I am a little worried that smart people may not be able to paint well, if you rely too much on intelligence, it may be easy to see different ideas, not enough persistence. In addition to sharpening the mind and thinking diligently, artistic creation must also have the skills of integrating body and mind and being familiar with the heart, which requires silent accumulation and hard work!
These have been perfectly interpreted in Ding Hong's short journey of learning to paint. Twice went to the countryside to sketch, her painting skills have been greatly improved, which has surprised many colleagues who have studied painting for more than ten years! Her case upended the perceptions of many people, myself included.
From Ding Hong's body, I saw the importance of rational understanding for the study of painting. She studied the laws of artistic expression assiduously, painted in a targeted manner, rather than blindly stunned painting, and received the effect of doubling the results with half the effort, she read so many art history theories, and sure enough, it was not read in vain. She immersed herself in painting like this, and made me feel that the dedication of successful people is good to put anywhere.
