The reporter learned that the paintings exhibited in the "Lightness, Infinity - Ding Hong Oil Painting Exhibition" cover Ding Hong's indoor still life sketches in Weihai, Shandong and along the Yellow River Basin in Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and other places.

Ding Hong told reporters that her love for art stems from Paris, France, as early as 1994, Ding Hong went to Paris to study, and after being infected by a strong artistic atmosphere, she began the enlightenment of art. Looking back on Ding Hong's creative experience, she did not stick to the strict styling training requirements of the academic school, but freely created what she thought and saw. After delving deeply into the theory of artistic creation, Ding Hong followed the objective laws of oil painting art and boldly processed the picture.

It is worth mentioning that Ding Hong is also a cross-border oil painter, before she was a science student engaged in chemistry, from walking out of the laboratory to picking up a paintbrush, Ding Hong said that this opportunity comes from her interest and love for painting, but also from an "impulse" to learn.

Under the guidance and influence of Yan Ping, a famous painter and vice chairman of the China Artists Association, and Wang Keju, a professor at Chinese Min University, Ding Hong has conducted two to three years of sketching training, and has greatly improved her observation of nature, sensitivity to color, and logic of composition. Wang Keju commented on Ms. Ding Hong's paintings, saying, "Ding Hong not only has a very strong logical thinking, but also has a keen sense of sensitivity, which is why she can create a large number of excellent paintings in a short period of time."

"In particular, the paintings on the theme of the Yellow River, I think it is also in line with the aspirations of the nation, and in her small paintings, she uses personal artistic expression to express her yearning for a better life in the future."
