107 apps were notified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for not completing rectification

In accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law, the Cybersecurity Law, the Telecommunications Regulations, the Provisions on the Protection of Personal Information of Telecommunications and Internet Users and other laws and regulations, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently organized a third-party testing agency to inspect mobile Internet applications (Apps), and as of now, 107 Apps have not been rectified. At the same time, during the testing process, it was found that 13 embedded third-party software development kits (SDKs) illegally collected user device information (see attachment for details).

The above-mentioned App and SDK should complete the rectification and implementation work before February 25. If rectification is not made within the time limit, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will organize and carry out relevant disposal work in accordance with laws and regulations.
